Beach Hotel

This is the best hotel I've ever had it's so clean! No marks on the shower glass take a min to appreciate that it's so clean and tidy and amazing highly recommend if your in bernie to stay here

Definitely recommend the Beach Hotel! Great value for money, with free breakfast! Best location and free parking. Super happy with it.

Rooms were modern and clean.
The location is awesome don't think it gets any better. Staff were politely and helpful.

Was recommened. Mum had the rack of lamb which she said was wonderful. I had the eye fillet, med rare, and unfortunately it was well done. At $45 I would like to think the chef would know that it should have a little juice! Dessert I had sticky date. Requested extra sauce but told it could not happen. It was good but more of the very tasty sauce would have made it great. It is a pub meal but the recommendation talked it up and I was disappointed. For the price I would not return.

Had lunch at the hotel, which was quite enjoyable. The menu had a great range to choose from, and children are catered for as well. Ideal for family and friends to dine out together, as l have done before.

I was highly impressed with this new hotel. They have renovated most rooms and they have done an excellent job. Our family room was massive (6), with two bedrooms, but it didn’t face the beach unfortunately. The bed was hard. The bathroom was also very large, but no bath, which is odd for a family room. There is a reasonably priced mini bar, and free tim tams to go with your coffee. Free breakfast is picked from a limited menu, and for free, it’s excellent. Breakfast is sent to your room the night before at around 545. Unfortunately the muffin is frozen. The room also has an electric fireplace. There is also free Austar. The location if perfect. We didn’t eat t the restaurant, but a lot of the menu and wine is Tasmanian, exactly the way it should be. The staff allowed us to plug in our Tesla too, even though the paid charger is across the road. Simply brilliant. The compendium needs to be updated to show the new TV remote control.

Extensive selection of beers and packaged spirits and wines. The menu is varied with generous portions. Ultra efficient staff, and relaxed atmosphere in the gaming room.
Ideally located, can recommend highly!

Best pub meal we had in Tasmania. Great quality, big serve. Lovely fresh vegetables with meal. We stayed for the night the room was clean, well stocked fridge at good prices.

Thank you so much Burnie Beach Hotel for accommodating my special meal request so graciously. You took my request seriously and didn't make me feel unwelcome and the meal was absolutely delicious! I'm so grateful for your flexibility. We'll be back again.

Superb! Food was incredible, service amazing and excellent value. I wish I had stayed in Burnie at this venue for more than a night. The rooms are so clean and the value is unbeatable. You really feel so looked after. Thank you to everyone at the Beach Hotel Burnie for the efforts you provide. We will come back, and next time, for a few nights at least.

I won't go back here. I'll start by saying the food was good. Probably overpriced for what it is but enjoyable enough. I had the Tasmanian gummy shark with chips and Caesar salad. There were two pieces of battered fish that were very nice. Chips were also good. Salad was lettuce with dressing and a few croutons. There was three tiny bits of bacon, no egg, anchovies or parmesan. Mum had Pork Belly with veg and it was beautiful. Very nice dish. Dad had pork noodle stir fry, it tasted good but the noodles were cold. The drinks were cheaper than other places nearby. My lemon, lime and bitters was very bitter.
We went for Dinner on a Friday night. Booked a table and asked for one by the window, were told that would be fine, but when we arrived we were put in the middle. Not a huge deal but boy was it LOUD! We ate and left as we couldn't have a conversation without yelling.
There are other options with good food that has a much better ambiance. I didn't realise how important it is until this experience.

If you would like a good place for a meal prices not to bad and also a kid friendly environment

Clean.modern.comfortable. Room service omg. Wow great staff. Huge meals. Stairs to rooms were a bit hard for me to climb and come down but that's on me.

Platters are delicious, definitely didn’t need the 2nd main dish! High quality meats and cooked very deliciously, highly recommended

We booked a meal which was easy, no need to call just book online, as we arrived directions were easy to follow, everything was clean and organised, perfectly spaced to walk past a table and not bump into anyone. We ordered the chicken schnitzel, 1 with chips and salad and the other just salad, they accidentally bought mine with chips instead of salad, I felt bad because I sounded rude, once it came back out, it had a medium sized chicken looked and tasted oily, The salad was just lettuce wrapped around what tasted like kfc coleslaw, little dissapointing to say however well presented.

The staff were wonderful, the room was clean and well appointed, and the meals were nice and big

Good ol' coastal pub with great beer and pool table. Had a scotch fillet steak and chips, highly recommend the Beach Hotel to all

Lovely spot for a drink. Shame about the locals. There was an intoxicated boy causing a ruckus last night, was good to see the chef (big man) finally kick the guy out. After the scene that boy caused, I hope he's banned for life! Disgusting behaviour.
