Bay View Villas

Great views. Apartment was spacious, clean and more than suitable for our needs. Staying on the 3rd floor with lift access made things easy and we were able to enjoy fantastic views all over Hobart.

Bay View Villas were the perfect place to stay with our family of 4. After having been in one hotel room at our previous accommodation while travelling around Tasmania, it was so lovely to have so much space. The two storey apartment we were in was homely, clean and had everything we needed whilst being very affordable. The staff were lovely and had made sure to turn the heating on in our apartment just before we arrived. The games room was a highlight for our 2 boys who had lots of fun playing ping pong. Laundry takes $2 coins only and the dryer was quite expensive to try and dry a big load of washing, but otherwise everything else here was great. Good View too!

Room was exactly as shown on website. Warm comfortable large size bedroom with built in wardrobe. Plenty of space for 3 in 1bd appartment. All accessories supplied plus the bonus of indoor pool and games room. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and no request was too much trouble. Will definitely be back in the future.

Fantastic location - last minute find when we decided to head to Hobart a day ahead of plan. Called 30 mins before reception was due to close and Jan booked us into their last room. Incredible views over Hobart and super comfortable and large one bedroom apartment.

The rooms and facilities were exceptionally clean, thanks to the staff for being extremely helpful with any request. Close to town and shops and cafes nearby.

Very pleased with our apartment. Lots of space, great kitchen and a balcony with a nice view of the city and river.

Friendly clean, modern, good value, great view over Hobart and just minutes from the city centre. Hers done pics of the view from the room we stayed in.

Clean, tidy and great location. Stayed in separate appartments. Noticed the plugs and cords for bedside lamps were hard up against the single beds on wheels which were nearly bent and out of the sockets. Disconnected in case fire hazard. Cups had to be re cleaned. Wasnt told we had to pay $150 accidental deposit til we paid the balance. Wasn't as good as last time we stayed. Ok I guess. 2.5-3 stars.

Clean with different facilities for long stay & with centre distance for most of Hobart locations.

Stunning views, beautiful clean modern rooms/apartments, plenty of parking. Friendly service. Very impressed.

Everything was spot clean, both in the villa we were in and the common areas. The location is fantastic, we could just drive to any of the tourist attraction very easily from there, avoiding the city traffic, though city is about 5 mins away.
I would have given 5 stars but am holding back for three reasons. First, the indoor pool was greatly appreciated, the room was warm like a sauna, but the water was cold. Heated pool was the feature, it was more like below room temperature cold. Second thing was the pool table, I thank them for having it. Its a paid item, like needs 2x $1 coins to operate. Its in appalling condition, it would have done their reputation less damage had it not been there. The table is really old and falling apart, worn out, probably comes out of some pub that threw it away. Such a small thing that sticks out like a sore thumb.
Third thing is that air con is a split system that was available downstairs only. Upstairs there is nothing, the issue I have is that the room advertised as having air con is technically true, but we sleep without it as the rooms are upstairs. Not false advertisement, but not very forthcoming either.

For staying there, I would recommend the Bay View Villas, there were indeed bay views from our window. The staffs are friendly, the establishment is well managed. Some minor issues, I'm sure they can fix, if not, you can overlook.

Very nice stay. Excellent apartment with lovely views over Hobart town. Good facilities but the indoor pool is small.
Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Very quiet area so the sleep quality is fantastic. There is an IGA/Deli within 5 min walk and its the best IGA i have ever seen!

This villa is on the hill. The steep road is narrow. Room is smell and dated. You can get better room in town at the same price.

No air conditioner upstairs. The day we visited was heat wave arrived, we had to sleep on sofa downstairs. Terrible experience.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. And the views of Hobart are magnificent.

Great experience of staying in this apartment. It was great for the three days. No issues or problems. There's a swimming pool with a games room for the boys out there to have an awesome time!

Place is clean, surrounds is beautiful being on top of a hill, staff is friendly. There's also a ping pong table and pool table for good fun.

Excellent location, spacious, perfect for a family visit to Hobart. Fully self catering with on-site laundry.

Clean apartment but very old facilities. The price is ridiculous high.not recommend. Also the location is bad, it's on a hill.
