Banjo's Bakery Cafe reviews
67Is sad to come to a coffee shop with such a lack of a good costumer service. Mel was awfully and she act so rude, like she doesn't give a $%# about her job.if she doesn't there would be many other people more prepared and more willing to serve.
Great tasting pies etc and pastries were good too. Coffee latte & mocha made well and nice and hot
Ordered 2 scallops pies, a flat white and a hot choc on 15 Jun afternoon. Was all excited to try scallop pies that Tasmania is famous for and it was up to expectations. What disappointed me was the poor service from the lady at the counter. Was deliberately ignored and was snubbed when asking for clarifications.
Banjo's in the city is always delightful. Very pleasant staff, service and food tops. Recommend it.
Great food and coffee. I don't see this sort of large format bakery/cafe in Brissie really love that there's heaps of room to suit and enjoy their yummy fair
We just had a holiday in Tassie and stayed in Hobart as well as other places. We came accross Banjos as the store was close to our accommodation and bought food a drinks a few times. Huge selection of food. Great coffee and the vanilla slices were to die for. As soon as we got back to Hobart to fly home we went straight back and had a pie for lunch. Now I'm back on the Gold Coast I'm looking for the closest Banjos.highly recommended.
What a "quality" of customer service they have. At the end, I could not even swallowed my hot chocolate properly, I threw it away.
We came in for breakfast and was served by Rachel she was lovely and very helpful towards my dietary needs all the staff were kind and polite and i cant recommended the experience more, the food also was very yummy.
The staff is ok. There is a lot of choices. I had a croissant and a french stick they were both frozen pastry definitly not homemade and baked on site. The blueberry housmade tart was good. The price of the croissant is maybe the lowest of the town. But i would prefer buy it a good bakery more expansive than eating this. The bread from Coles is better! Cut the banjo's french stick and the rustic bread from coles in half and the difference between frozen pastry and handmade pastry will be obvious and so the taste. Your stick is not worth its price.
Customer service was rock bottom, ordered for coffee and 2 sandwiches the lady behind the counter was least bothered to serve us. If you work for a such high standard brand try to keep the customer service to a bar.
Highly disappointed, won't recommend this branch of Banjo's
Went last to week to get some savoury rolls and drinks. Standard of the store is not good as the one i found it in the salamanca.
Thanks heaps to Banjo's for contributing to our Australian Rural Leadership Program experience whilst in Hobart this week. The staff were very respectful and kind hearted, listening to our story and contributing what they could. The buns were fresh and delicious!
Good not great. Opening hours are much better than other places. Baked bread and pastries are good. Sandwiches are not stored well though, so pretty sad and dried out by the afternoon.
A pretty good bakery for a quick snack and some good quality pastries in Hobart. Good value for money too. Definitely worth trying. Yours truly @fooderarri

The Bakery & Cafe is very clean and tidy. Staff helpful and no que. Good seating. Nice and warm on a rather cool Hobart day.
Couldn’t give less than 5 stars. Great pies and coffee. The guy at the counter served me with a smile at 5.30 in the morning. Couldn’t be much happier after my long working hours!
Thank You!
A bit commercialised now as they have expanded. Good selection of pastries and hot food. Staff are really friendly. Tried caramel, peppermint and snickers slices - average.
Good experience.great food.but please bring back the real cups & saucers, mugs etc & cutlery!
On holidays in tassie from qld, had found a banjo's in Launceston and loved the coffee and food. Figured that I'd see if Hobart had one.
Grabbed coffees, and date scones, and vegemite scrolls, Benedict croissant and a cheese toasty.
Food is wonderful and friendly customer service
