We had a very nice time with some delicious and local Tassie sourced food and an excellent dessert!

Would definitely go again - chill atmosphere, lovely staff, mulled cider and great selection of food (eggplant donburi was 美味しい!)

Nice little restaurant near the Launceston city centre.
Had some great food here, pasta with salmon and prawns. There was plenty of pasta on my plate, so no way I leave this place hundy:)
I would come back here again

Really good bar staff!
Food was very poor. I ordered the squid main and mac & cheese side.
Squid was cold in places and generally not very crispy or well cooked. Salad and dipping sauce were great though.
The mac & cheese had no flavour, other than a metallic taste from the serving dish.

“Our Head Chef, and her team, work with local suppliers & produce wherever possible to support & showcase the best this state has to offer! Try our Tasmanian House specialty, the Pepperberry Porterhouse, grown only here in Tasmania & exported globally. It is a must try! ”

Unfortunately we never experienced such a meal. Overcooked and under delivered.

We ordered a bottle wine and it never arrived even after asking for it twice. Same for the side dish and sauce.

It’s becoming too common: Tasmanian produce flag flying ‘pub fare’ disguised as restaurants and charging for it. Manage your expectations.

We went in for dinner on a Tuesday night and were turned away because they claimed they were “too full” even though there were at least 10 empty tables. I actually thought they were joking because it was so quiet. But they probably did us a favour because the smell of urine inside the restaurant was overwhelming. I would not come back!

Just got back to our hotel after a beautiful meal. Steak cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable, Sam our waiter was attentive, helpful and truly a gem. A great last night in Launceston.

This bald ginger dude cornered me at the bar and talked at me about bicycles for 2 hours. I tried to stop the convo a couple times but he had a weird look in his eyes and would just talk louder until I stopped.

Food and atmosphere was great though.

Went here on Good Friday and had an average experience. Only positive is the friendly staff. The donburi was very average and chips were stale. Hard to go wrong with a parmi but this one wasn’t up to the mark. Avoid.

Went in for lunch today with my 13 years young son. He ordered a beef burger, I ordered beef carpaccio. Burger was fine, Carpaccio was far from an average carpaccio, more a mixed salad with 5 thick slices of chewy beef. Tasted 2 slices of beef, but not eatable. Asked by the young student if all was fine, I mentioned the carpaccio is not what I describe as one and please tell the chef, which she said she will do. After 30 minutes we paid, including the carpaccio. Asking the young student if she told the chef she said no but will do later. Result: Not going back, chef and student girl need training and coaching about customer service and food preparation.

Parmi burnt (underside), fries cold, side veges undercooked. Tandoori chicken. Curry was cold! Restaurant was booked out so dined near the bar. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, probably understaffed as tables not clean.

Went for out for tea for my daughter's birthday. Wife and I got the share platter. The spring rolls had walnuts in them with no allergens advice or warning on the menu. My wife was violently ill and rushed home to medicate, luckily it was immediately noticed on her part that it contained nuts. Had she been drinking beforehand and maybe was less aware of the situation it could of quite easily been worse eg: unable to breath and the outcome of said such situation. In this day and age I find it mind boggling that allergens aren't disclosed and said ingredients are still being used in foods. I'm sorry for the review however it's on the lower end of the scale of an medical emergency in the dining room or footpath of your restaurant/bar which quite nearly happened. Get your act together before this happens or worse.

Amazing pepperberry porterhouse. Hands down best dish of our trip to Tassie this time round thus far! Had the mac and cheese side, could be more cheesy. Good selection of tap beer and gin. Disappointed that only 2 red wines by glass were from Tas.

This is one of the better bars in Launceston.
Definitely not the cheapest, but for a upscale experience, it's totally worth it.
Good crowd, decent music and service!

The food was a bit of a letdown. The chicken parmigiana was drier than usual and lacked a sauce. The chips didn't fare much better, with some being hard and cold.

Ate here by chance yesterday and was very happy with the meal. The Parma was one of the best I have had at a pub. My husband had three tacos. They were quite big. The duck was a bit too oily but the other two were great, he especially liked the pork. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Launceston.

Amazing food and staff were amazing but very low on staff especially for a Saturday. The lovely girl servicing us was off her feet. There were a couple of big tables in the restaurant that evening including ours. It would be great if they have at least two more staff members.

We were disappointed with the food. Some of it was still frozen on the inside. The wait staff were good
