Alchemy Bar & Restaurant

Lovely wait staff. The bar vibe was nice and well thought out with a separate dinning area.

Korean fried chicken bao bun was delicious. The rest of the food was bland and average. Good portion sizes though.

I walked into alchemy, I stood at the bar I asked the lady behind the bar, I’m looking for some food what’s good or what do you recommend she looked at me and was like… EVERYTHING. She could of said well we sell a lot of and listed a few of the most orders items. Well I went the the southern fried chicken burger. Was actually really delicious it was like a sweet Thai chilli except a lot more spice. It als had a lot of ginger was amazing. 5 stars for the food the lady behind the bar just ruined my experience

Meals arrived hot. But Chip's on both meals were stone cold like the salad. Passed this on to bar staff with no timely response. Some of the staff was positive.

One of our favorite spots. Staff are always friendly and try to make conversation. Drink's are always great and the beers are always changing (the favourites stay, but a couple taps, at least, change frequently). Food is always nice too. Probably part of the better onion rings you can find.

If you have to go anywhere, this is an easy choice for anyone.

Great food and decent service. This place was very busy when my wife and I visited, we did not have a booking but they were able to accommodate us and we weren't disappointed by the experience. Our meals were delicious and a decent size and our cocktails were yummy. Being a bar and restaurant, it was a bit on the noisy side, but what do you expect, especially when it was busy. Very enjoyable.

Really nice place, quite a big area lots of different seating with lounges too. Food is good but just average. Customer service is great:)

Unfortunately we had a very questionable experience here which is very disappointing. I really don’t like giving bad reviews but we didn’t feel the service was respectful or professional.
We had a group of 10 people (we were not in a rush, and would have happily waited 30mins-1hr for a drink, because we knew big groups can be intimidating) for a birthday pub crawl, and were refused to have our drinks mixed that we asked for (we were not allowed to order what we all wanted individually, because of the number of people in our group - so we all had to order the same thing, that was the easiest for the bartender to make) none of us wanted this drink but accepted it to keep the flow of business. We would have happily gone elsewhere, if you refused business but they didn’t, and still gained over $220 from
us.
However, I can guarantee if 10 separate patrons came in, you would have happily make whatever they wanted.
Following on, we were incorrectly charged - which is okay, mistakes happen but, this is $40 of extra money we happily paid because we were told to. We did receive a refund after I brought it up to one of the ladies, but I shouldn’t have had to do that.
The people were lovely, this experience just really didn’t make me want to come back.

The food was great, the wait staff was very attentive and understanding. The manager could have been having a bad day.

Waited 3 hours in line after being told to come back later, just to be abruptly turned away at the door. No organisation at all as far as line management and ticket sales.and although security were polite. The business refused anyone to even get in the door 1 and a half hours before their advertised finish time. Unbelievable

I am absolutely appalled with the lack of organisation from the boiler room event tonight. My friends and I turned up 30mins after the scheduled start time and were told to come back in half hour. When we came back the line was snacking down the street, with nobody managing the organisation of the line we were constantly being cut in front of. After waiting for over 3 hours in line they stopped letting people in yet waited about another 40mins until they turned the mass amount of people away at the door. If they did not have the capacity available to do door sales they should’ve sold tickets in advance instead of getting peoples hopes up just to turn them away at the door.

Been here a few times now. It's modern, fresh and the service is really good. It's now our go to meet up when we're in Lonnie!

Fabulous food here - the Peruvian chicken dish was flavoursome and succulent and I'm told that the steak was excellent too.

I am absolutely appalled with the handling of the boiler room event.after spending upwards of 3 hours in the cold and watching as the line was continually cut we were simply turned away at the door.there was no obvious line management and as far as i could tell the venue was poorly equipped to accommodate the massive crowd drawn into by the organisers advertising.

Cute little bar, lovely staff, absolutely great selection of spirits. The mother in law was happy that you had Bundaberg!

Very disappointed with our meals. Overpriced and under delivered. Service staff not interested in feedback. Would NOT recommend. After.we wandered around CBC. Found San Churros. Gelato with churros & hot coffee certainly made up for disastrous meal!

Lovely, gin, wisky and rum bar. Exquisite drinks, lovely knowledgeable staff. It's not quite but one of the best places for fun, food.

Friendly staff and decent drinks but that’s where it ends. The food was so random e.g don’t order the pork taco unless you’re happy with a pork wrap with a garden salad and no flavour, and don’t order the margherita pizza unless you’re comfortable with being served a frozen boxed pizza that was probably 3.99 from Woolies.

Shouldn’t have a food menu unless it’s going to be good quality. The whole thing needs an overhaul.

Excellent service and range of products! A great place to enjoy a drink, a meal and a great chat with the bar tenders:)
