Zambrero Semaphore

I absolutely love this place. The food is always on point here. I've never ever been disappointed with this place.

The staff are always nice and efficient. The food is well prepared and the staff are always friends. The place also has good facilities.

Respect for the workers here.

The first time that I have ever been to Zambrero's, the customer service was amazing, and the food was very tasty. The atmosphere was boring though

Very bad service. Very slow.
Better off going to the Brickworks store. They prioritise ubereats over in the store

30 minutes wait time to get a burrito, only two staff working and 15 people in line waiting

I love Zambreros but on 3 occasions there have been extremely hard pieces of rice in their burritos. It's like biting on a pebble. I think it's from mixing the rice that's hardened on the edges of the container back into the rice. Still happening months in between visits, love the other Zambrero's though, don't let it deter you from trying other places. This is the only one I have found that has this issue which is annoying because it's our local.

This is actually a very good Zambreros. In 10 years of going here every person has always been nice. The quantity of burrito compared to other Zams is also very different.

At Other Zambreros, Hindley St Adelaide and North Adelaide for example, you would assume that the cost of guacamole and limes gets deducted from the paychecks of the workers if they give you a sufficient amount…. Where as Semaphore they give a generous serving of the burrito luxuries. And in all seriousness, when your handed a serving of a sliver of guacamole and almost a pretend squeeze of lime and over packed in with some highly profitable rice, beans and lettuce, you can’t help but think the owers are complete stingy spatchcocks…… so yea, you get the opposite at Semaphore.

The way that every young worker is always nice and I mean always to the point that it’s insanely consistent, is a testament to the owners, management and their staff training/ workplace culture… which is very very important.

Location is really easy to pull up park, get what you need and go without hassle and taking too much time.

Like the staff here a lot. Always happy to have a chat. Store is clean. Plenty of options to sit inside or outside. Great selection of food and drinks. Will return in the new year

Disappointed on the lack of customer service. Especially on the guy with long curly hair and glasses. He was very rude and seemed to not enjoy his job, shouldn't work in customer service honestly. Also the bald headed (assuming female with tattoos) it was so rude. Rolling her eyes at customers and speaking in a very aggravated tone. They both looked like they hated their jobs.

A great place to eat! Lovely staff and a great set out to the shop. Always super clean too

I hate to say it. But the worst customer service ever that I ever had. An being told when I ordered SPECIFICALLY TAKE AWAY, that I can't take one drink out it because if had no alcohol beverages sign at the top of it in the drinks section. How would I know its alcoholic. Then your staff try to bribe me into buying chips. Very poor customer service. Disgusted. No apologies nothing by your staff. How dare they treat a customer like me at your store.

Pretty annoyed I took a bite into my meal and there was lamb in it and not cauliflower. The girls were apologetic and super nice and replaced my order.mistakes happen i guess

Bloody Semaphore

Visited with family. Nachos were a big hit with the kids. We enjoyed a burrito each. Staff friendly and were happy to guide me through the large selection without rush. Felt nice. Clean eating area. Has toilets for customer use. 5/5 will be back when visiting in-laws at semaphore beach again

Got served by the covid marshall girl who was so nice and seemed genuinely happy to chat. Great big fresh burritos!

Expected the teenager would slightly stuff up the burrito but this is ridiculous. Tables and chairs look to not have been cleaned in a week, flies everywhere and the smell was not pleasant. Still better than eating out of a bin but very average to say the least

Order thru Uber. Reallynice well packaged meal with right amount of food. Thank you guys for looking after my order and speacial instructions.

I really enjoyed the pulled beef burrito bowl and chicken burritos at this store.
Be aware of you want avocado in it they charge you extra.

REVIEW UPDATE: tonight I called in and not only was our food amazing as ever but the server's attitude was absolutely fantastic ️ not only were they super friendly and seemed genuinely interested in chatting with us but they also knew exactly what they were doing around the area and dealt with us and uber orders really quickly and efficiently I was super impressed! I'd come back anyway for the food but honestly with service like that they deserve a raise

Yummy everytime. I wish I kept remembering my card for stamps to get a free burito. Is there something on yr app that builds up points? Semaphore doesn't take online orders according to the app.
