Zambrero Norwood

Once again left disappointed.
Continuously give this zambrero a shot but are constantly served inconsistently small sized burritos, compared to Blackwood or Brickworks. Ordered 2 Triple Ts today only to be, not only small, but without double cheese. How do I know the menu better than some staff? This review is not a reflection upon all staff, as I have on occasions received a good burrito.

The service is usually average but yesterday my mother and I had the most warm, friendly customer service we've ever had here. I asked for her name, specifically so I could write this review, I believe it was Leah? She was wonderful. Food is always great too:)

Always great service - especially from Oliver and Eden! I visit a lot and the food is really good - and they always listen to my requests:)

Just ordered two tacos they were both prepared in a sloppy manner. The filling was more outside the taco than inside it and not to mention one of the tacos was fully stuck to the box.

Extremely disapointed and will not order from here again!

The guy who made my burrito (Freedom) was so good at packing those babies to the brim whilst still keeping the burrito intact, was probably the best burrito I have ever had in my 23 years of living.

He was also super polite and very good at his job, while watching him create the masterpiece just big enough to fit in my mouth it seemed as if he actually became one with the burritos for a moment. Promote this champion!

Very good experience DEFS recommendo! (Ask for freedom)

I feel guilty for writing this, but unfortunately the quality of the meals has decreased since I last ate food from here a couple of years ago. We have ordered some burrito bowls here via Uber eats twice recently. The first time, we ordered it with corn chips which we paid extra for, and maybe got one corn chip crushed up on each bowl (I have since noticed a few other reviews that mentioned minimal toppings/ingredients). The second time they forgot to put the pinto beans in the bowl altogether (not that you get many anyway). As they were both vegetarian bowls, this meant we had rice and salad for dinner. At $16-18 per bowl, I expect better quality and for all the items to be included. We tried to call the restaurant 45 minutes before closing to let them know, but unfortunately couldn’t get through. My suggestions would be to provide better value for money, ensure quality staff training, and check meals to ensure they include all ingredients before serving.

There are better places for value. Every time I have been I feel ripped off because of minimal toppings, I've had bites into burritos with just rice or bites of tacos with just taco shell. For the price I expect more food.

Tasty and delicious Mexican food. Opening hours are very good, you can always grab a bite to eat before or after a movie which is just next to it

Our favorite Mexican food! We drive all the way to Norwood just to have their burrito and soft veg tacos.
It's totally worth it!

Disgusting.is all I can say! The male staff who served me on Sat had long wavy hair (not even tied back) and the nose ring of the other girl turned me off.gross.the food is also tasteless, flavour less and they don’t even have salsa for a topping in a Mexican food place! Go to Guzman and Gomez for a much better burrito, taste and service.

Ordered and payed $45 for 2 burritos both with black rice and we received two very cold burritos with white rice, and one was missing sauce. Called the store and they said they can’t help us and we have to apply for a refund through the app. Problem is I am a type one diabetic and white rice is high GI and spikes my blood sugar levels so I never eat it. Black rice is much lower GI. So now I’m left with a dinner that I know will cause me problems. Won’t ever be ordering again.

Not the friendliest staff around. No eye contact, monotone voices, skimpy and small burritos. I love Zambreros, but wouldn't ever come back to this one again.

Mexican McDonalds, quick not too much skill in the way of cooking. So don't expect too much or have high expectations.

Oh and the food you can eat it.

First time having it, sort of like a Mexican subway, build your own burrito. Tasted good and seems fresh.

The more popular, more Mexican subway - fantastic service, the interior was a tad dirty after a busy period. Perfect fuel to go and watch football mates play up in Rostrevor.

Fast food burritos and other mexican - not jam packed but still a good feed and good flavour. Like a ‘subway’ but for mexican style foods

Much as I like Zambrero and their menu, the quality of what you receive really, really depends on the person making it for you and/or how busy things are, which has made the occasional visit a bit of a roll of the dice, so to speak.

Awesomeness at a great price, fantastic staff, healthy food and they help needy hungry people too!

I guess 'Warm Tortilla' and '12 inches' means something else in my world. Filling was really tasty, though.
