57I was personally discriminated against for having a medical condition and asked to leave with no explanation and was completely ignored by staff. Do not recommend going here. Will never go back after such horrible treatment for no reason.
Was discriminated here the staff wouldn’t serve me at all because I didn’t have a mask and I told them I had an exemption. I will never eat here again and I have posted on Facebook groups which shame businesses that discriminate against this so more people know.
Food has been good each of the 4 times I have been but the staff look like they are in pain being there. I have never once seen any of them smile or.provide any sort of customer service.
Seriously don't know how you guys do it! Always get the best burritos out of any Zambies in SA from here all the while, positive and friendly staff despite constantly dealing with people not wearing masks and creating a scene. Serious props to the staff, you are great!
Zambrero discriminates against people with medical conditions and genuine medical exemptions. Their staff are also hypocrites. Not recommended.
Absolutely love Zambies and Henley is the best in SA. Matt makes the best burritos every time, always get top value for money from him.
Staff is in hurry even there were no customers behind me. Not adding enough ingredients. One staff tried to put the last corn stuff in burrito which seems adding water in the burrito. Not every staff is like that but it’s like a luck
The service experience bu the staff every week had never impressed me and today was my final straw. I came in today and stood there waiting for 15 minutes there where only 3 people in the store 2 had their food and the other was waiting, the staff are constantly slow every time i come in and extremely rude and un welcoming. After talking to my friend whos lives near by he had the same opinion of the store. Very un impressed
Dear Henley Beach Zambrero manager, as loyal weekly client today I got turned away 5 minutes before closing time and after waiting a further 3 minutes only to be advised that the client in front was the last order for the night… I suggest your staff should close the doors 15 minutes before closing time in future. This was the last time I will place my foot in your store. 0/10.
I was served by Callum. Boy oh boy were they amazing! They were overwhelmed with at least 7 online orders and 5 customers in store and did this all on their own. They kept their head down, worked hard and were beyond polite and eager to serve. They were amazing, kind and I hope they see this.:)
Uber driver didn’t deliver, went to wrong address and wasn’t helpful trying to fix the problem. Tried calling Zambrero at Henley Beach several times, but no answer. Not good enough. Won’t be ordering from here ever again!
I ordered Uber Eats from this restaurant and paid for a lamb barrito and 3 x Perkii drinks but only got received 1 x Perkii drink instead of 3 when the payment was for 3 drinks.very disappointed and won't be ordering uber eats with then again,
Whilst I love Zambreros in general, I cannot recommend the Henley Beach store (at least not via Uber Eats) for following reasons:
- Servings have consistently less filling than other Zambrero's branches;
- Burritos are poorly prepared, and are falling apart (partly because they are so empty) ;
- Their black rice tortilla seems to fall apart despite other branches not having the same issue (once again, could be a fault of filling and assembly).
As an example of the poor serving sizes; the Power Burrito (which claims to have 50% more filling) had about as much filling as a Small burrito at other stores. Also, despite ordering and paying for 3x extra servings of sour cream and cheese, there was barely any in there. I would expect that if you are spending almost an extra 10% for a cheap condiment like sour cream, its presence would be immediately apparent.
The orders affected were on weeknights in the evening (around 7-8 pm). I do not intend to order from this Zambreros again.
I absolutely loved my experience. I was served by an excellent worker and i was so amused by his service that i asked for his name. He told me his name was Samuel Horobin. He is very enthusiastic and i would love to be served by him.
Service took sometime, even with the shop empty.
I found the burrito bowl disappointing. It doesn’t taste like Mexican food and the portions are very small.
Love Zambos! But the kids working last night were extremely rude and loved taking the piss. I commented on the speed so they decided to immaturely take 45 minutes to serve me and make my burrito. Very professional.
The person who made my food was cleary sick or had hayfever, not a great look in this day and age, food was good though.
Super slow service. Takes so long to even be acknowledged. Store is always dirty not onky from customers but behind the counter is always messy. Food is standard across all stores but I never feel welcomed here.
Zambrero continues to be a disappointment. This outlet especially. Needs a course on customer service. Staff is bit rude and are applying Covid restrictions selectively.
Soft taco had an insufficient amount of pulled pork in it which wasn't worth the money. The burritos were labelled incorrectly which could've caused an allergic reaction to us
