Willunga Farmers Market reviews
65Has been a excellent market for years but new location at high school not a winner for me lacks atmosphere
This market is simply one of the best farmers' markets around with a fantastic diverse food & produce offering and such friendly traders. Always enjoy our time there.
Always great to see the hardworking and smiling Willunga Country Fire Service volunteers out and about.
This morning at the Willunga Farmers Market they were cooking up a storm with the sausage sizzle as well as providing bushfire education to people of all ages.
Thanks again for the thousands of hours you put into our community.
It was a very hot afternoon, probably the hottest so far. Even then, the vendors were out with a smile. Was the first market my family and I visited since arriving in Adelaide and it didn't disappoint. Great produce and good prices; the wife was very pleased with her haul. The freshest ever 'bloody cold' apple and pear cider really helped!
I have been coming here since it first opened and it is excellent. It has, however, lost it's atmosphere now that it has moved to the school grounds and I don't go as often
No dogs: very upset today arriving at the new place for Willunga farmers market. The market was a regular venue we visited to take or dog, have breakfast and buy produce. We will not be visiting again! Very sad
Brighton High School market on Sundays welcome dogs. Join as there!
Cocky Guides is my business that provides group tours for blind and low-vision travellers all over Australia. In Willunga, we had a group of blind, low vision and deafblind travellers, plus a couple of Guide Dogs. We had a perfect day visiting the markets. The Manager Jenni really took the time to understand our needs and made available the best volunteers to take our group around to meet the local growers. Our volunteers, Felicity and Julie guided us around the markets so we could smell, touch and taste the local produce. It was such a fun, inclusive and accessible experience for my travellers. We look forward to another day out with you on our next visit!
Local vendors, local produce. Check the facebook page for updates on which stalls are attending due to COVID.
Sassy Quilt and Candalana had a wonderful time at the Willunga Quary market. Great weather and lovely friendly customers and fellow stall holders. See you all at the next market.
It certainly has grown since the last time I had been there 20 years ago.
We still went to the high street for coffees and cake️
Love these markets!
Great selection, fresh genuine produce.pricing is what it should be; and you know its going to the people that deserve it!
We should all start purchasing from these kind of markets more.
Have to mention Najobe beef, the best meat I have ever eaten!
Althòugh cold & wet this morning, good buys could be had. Pork belly pies all gonè by 9. Would have bèen nice to have a food van selling egg & bacon rolls
Great farmer's market with lots of fresh fruit, veg, meats and breads. I especially love White Valley Jalapenos Bull Creek Pies.
My favourite SA market. Love the friendly vendors and homemade products made with love. Some unique finds like alpaca meat available and I cannot go past the artisan breads.
Lots of stalls and quality products only down side would be variety. Excellent if you want coffee/brunch or fresh fruit and veg but lacking a bit in the specialty items? Arts and crafts.
One of my favourite markets. Lovely set up and just a great community vibe. Has a great range of local produce and fresh fruit/vegetables. Has now become a regular activity
Great place good atmosphere very friendly, good value for great products. Parking spaces a bit short wheelchair accessible but might be tricky with the crowds, if you believe in farmer to user sales this is a great place to go remember it's duration first served once it's gone it's gone some producers take orders for sides of lamb etcetera.
Great sense of community, but a lot less diversity than normal. However this is likely due to COVID more than anything else.
Great range of stalls including organic producers. Heavenly bakery goods, fresh KI oysters, Olive oil, and preserves (Gina's kitchen!). Give yourself a couple of hours and come with an appetite
First time at this market, we loved it. It has everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, home made produce and lots of delicious food. Will go back again soon
