65Love getting my shopping directly from the food producers. Best way to shop, get a bit of special treatment from the stall holders. Just great produce too.
First time there went for something specific but that company was not there on the day but enjoyed looking and bought some lovely strawberries.jam and a butternut plant
Will go again
We popped along for a second week in a row, experiencing too many people on Christmas eve and huge queues to get anything, be it a coffee or food to eat or even fresh fruit and vegetables. Today the wait was minimal. A lovely day, a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately our request for rhubarb seedlings had been forgotten so we might have to return for a third visit next Saturday. I was hoping to get some reasonably priced honey, like $21 a tub back home at Rapid Creek market in Darwin. This time Kangaroo Island honey was $20 for a small jam jar making it extremely expensive. It won't put me off though. We did get some lovely fruit and vegetables at a reasonable price.
I used to visit Willunga Farmer's Market regularly, but since moving closer to the city have visited Adelaide Showgrounds Farmer's Market. Having visited Willunga since to move to the school location it has lost the soul and vibe that made it so unique.
For me it's no longer worth the longer drive which is a real shame. Hopefully one day it will return to its original spot in the heart of Willunga.
A great market to but fresh fruit and veg, I would not buy meat here as some vendors don't seem to have a fridge? Everyone here is friendly and it has a great community vibe. Come down here to support the locals!
Lots of great produce here it really is a joy to walk around and stock up on some pantry items.
The sun was shining and everyone was smiling. Great to see Banter between the stall holders and locals. Lots of amazing artisan goods and organic produce
Interesting selection of fresh produce and great for a wander with family or friends on a Saturday morning.
Nice but expensive. Considering the current economic climate the number of buyers might decline unfortunately.
Beautiful market. You can feel real local farmer's market at its best. The market focused on local fresh products and giving me variety of options to choose from. We've got fabulous olive oil from Peninsula Providore and very happy with our choice! Highly recommended!
This country market has just so much to offer in the variety of tasty food and coffees and cakes, fresh vegetables and variety of wines and cheeses etc. I love this market just so much.
Please come and visit and enjoy the country food and friendship that is on offer.

A wonderful adventure! Enjoyed making my selection from a huge range of local produce, sipping a delicious coffee and eating scrumptious treats! The best farmers market experience!
Such a lovely market. Visited for the first time this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of goods on offer. Will definitely be coming back.
Willinga farmers market.
One of my favourite places in McLaren Vale to stop for local fresh food on Saturdays.
Great selection of market stalls with fresh local produce. Which included some very interesting products which I had not seen. Stall holders very friendly and happy to talk about their products. Coffee and breakfast are available.
Definitely the place to shop, very fresh products, very friendly staff and very knowledgeable.will be heading back soon
Always visit this beautiful market in Willunga when in SA. A stunning place to live and see. First class products and atmosphere.
It's a great experience. Freshest produce. Stall holders so nice. Variety is amazing. Location is perfect. We go all the time and that is not likely to change
Easy to walk around, well spaced, good selection of local food. Purchased alpaca meat - very tasty.
Willunga Farmer's Market was a wonderful little place for fresh produce and honey. The Lavender stand is a must visit spot for a brownie and some lemonade.
