Food was good but DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN ESPRESSO MARTINI, tastes like watered down coffee… it tastes like it doesn’t have any vodka or kahlua in it, absolutely waste of money for a long black (weak) coffee.
Saw the SA Pie Floater on the menu and said to myself that I'm not drunk enough for that. Then I read the description and pointed it out to others at the table. Glad I did. Bloody wonderful. Will be bringing my regular restaurant cohorts here in the near future.
Been here for a work lunch and after work drinks and it's a really great pub. Portions are a little small (I got three sausage rolls as a starter and have had 5 of the same size for the same price in other places), but I think they're going for the gastro pub-style offering. Taste is great and I can highly recommend the onion rings, fried chicken starter, sausage rolls and burgers. Nice outside area at the back for drinks after work.

Service was good, no discount for the bad food
Perfect steaks. We ordered 300g scotch fillet $40 & an 250g eye fillet $42. We asked for sweet potatoe fries instead of fries and they happily accommodated. The steaks were cooked to perfection! Jus was delicious, fries were perfect in texture (crispy exterior and mash potato like centre) even salad was well dressed. Def be back!
Excellent. Great staff, good food and beer selection. Large restaurant area out the back and pokies are thankfully hidden away. Yep, go here.
Great music great pub but a couple of the bar tenders looked like they didnt want to be there and made us feel like we were not welcome
The union is a really nice pub. Their meals are on the larger size and they very good. I wish they had a steak under $30 but the do great chicken and porterhouse schnitzels for $25 so I can't really complain. Staff are always friendly and they have some nice beers on tap.
Dreadful, overpriced food, noisy squished tables. Avoid the "Porterhouse" schnitzel - tough tasteless leather. Go to the Cumby down the road, so much better.
Food was fairly good. I had as breakfast wrap. Very tasty, good service but the menu was quite limited- Especially for vegetarians/vegans. Overall pretty good. 4 stars!
Food is fantastic, staff are great and selection is good. Music is a little loud for a social gathering during the day but not a problem
Fabulous venue, great crowd and awesome DJ on Friday nights. Could have been 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact that security could do their job better. Appears thuggery and bullying is something that should well be trained out of unprofessional security culture.
Conveniently located. Has an old town charm to it. Has a smoking area within. Good food, cheerful and friendly staff! All makes up for a nice environment
Very inexpensive pizzas early in the week. Very light on the sauce and dry, but great value!

A couple of good craft beers on tap. We got the calzone which was enjoyable. There was a dj on a Saturday night which was a little too loud and bit out of place for 8pm
We love the Union. The menu is excellent, we've been here for a very well cooked (as in, just how we liked it) steak, and also to just eat a heap of the starters amongst a few of us because it's all so good. The food is always delicious, fast and reasonably priced. It's a very comfortable place to dine, and talk, it has good atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended heading here for dinner or drinks any day of the week. I was so into the food I forgot to take any photos!
