The decision to select Total Gates was based on the quoting process, the attention to detail and confidence in TGDA ability to deliver, they came through with a gate that even with its added complexities is everything that i expected.i would have no hesitation in recommending TGDA to any one that wants a superb product in manufacture and service.

Our gates would not open. Remote would not work over a period of four days. Rang to arrange a time and date. They rang back to organise an earlier time. All good so far. The tech arrived on time. Before he arrived I tried the gates again. All working properly! I explained this to the tech. No problems with what he said. If it is working properly then there is not much he could do. Fair enough. He was gone in two minutes. No problems. We would pay the bill and put it down to bad luck. The Invoice arrived by email. The description included: The technician inspected the unit and despite thorough inspection and repeated testing, no fault was present at the time of attendance.

The tech did not inspect the unit (unless a quick glance is considered an inspection) There was no testing undertaken at all. The tech was there for no more than two minutes. I agreed to the price of $150 for attending and for the first 15 minutes. Expensive but we wanted the gate fixed and the company was local to me. I paid the invoice before the due date.

What I object to is claiming that they did work without actually doing anything. Shop around. $75 a minute without actually touching the unit is a bit rich!

A very Professional organisation with quality and first class products and manufacturing offered and installed. Highly recommended to talk with these guys when looking for gates and automation for your premises.

I think it was back in 1999 or before then when we purchased the property in Salisbury, we then used the yellow pages phone book back then. We used Total Gate and Door Automation 20 years ago, and just recently.

Our Automated Gate has worked day in and day out over the 20 years since installed - and it finally needed a replacement drive / controllers. Total Gate and Door have been apart of my family's lives and it's incredibly comforting to know they still have our backs.

We contracted Total Gate and Door Automation to erect a substantial new security fence and automatic gate with phone assisted answering and operation, at our City commercial office building. We sought four quotes and while TGDA’s was not the lowest, it was nevertheless very competitive. After a number of on site discussions with their reps, we gave them the go ahead. The job was done promptly, on time, and as promised, and the workmanship was exceptional. It looks amazing. Nine months on, no issues with the work, and no regrets or concerns from us. First service done recently with no issues detected. Would not hesitate to use TGDA next time. Thank you Corey and the TGDA team.

I’d also like to thank the manufacturing team for a well built gate made from quality products and made within the time frame allocation quoted, and the installation crew and electricians who did a awesome job installing the gate, motor and programming of the gate remotes as well as programming my garage roller door remotes to be able to open the gate as well as my roller door. After looking around for weeks trying to find a reliable and professional company, these guys ticked all the boxes. Any issues that arose were fixed by a simple phone call, and their staff were exceptionally helpful.

Absolutely appalling customer service. We had issues with our gate which a technician was sent out and mis diagnosed if you like the issue, then another technician came and also failed to identify a key component for the repair. 3rd time lucky and the gate was repaired however the range for opening was not as the old model and a major safety concern at how close you need to be to open the gate after a tight turn from traffic! We are then told we need to pay additional charges on top to have the gate to function as it previously did. No reward for quality, safety or customer service this company! Appalled.

Corey and his team did an amazing job from start to finish when it came to installing my new gate system.
From the very beginning his crew of technicians came out and gave their honest opinion of what system would be most suitable as I am in a very windy area with gully breezes up to 140km. Corey then came out to do an actual sales quote and I was very impressed with pricing. The new system was installation commenced within a week and by week two it was operational. We have young children and a dog so my wife and I were very happy from a security perspective at the speed in which this was completed.
To top the whole sales experience off James the technician rang to make sure we were happy.

Very poor service! I filled in there contact email they have to get quotes because u can’t get anyone to answer the phone! It’s been about five weeks know and still no contact! Really bad service! Have tried another company!

We had a great experience with Total Gate & Door. The sales guy is a bit rough around the edges, but the quoting process and communications were clear. I would recommend to refer to a drawing or one of the website pictures to avoid any confusion, since most mere mortals don't understand some of the terms in relation to gates and their design.
The product is 10 out of 10, absolutely flawless (in our case a sliding gate and a pedestrian gate) and beautifully manufactured and painted.
The installation was as promised and scheduled. Nick the installer and the sparky communicated ahead of time, showed up, did a brilliant job and cleaned up after themselves - 12 out of 10. Same for the other people involved.

We were really pleased with the service, product, and price provided by Corey and the team at TGDA. Our budget was tight, but this was no problem. An alternative to what we thought we wanted was suggested, and it was a far cheaper and probably better solution. We're happy to recommend TGDA, as they did us a huge favour by supplying expert advice and personal service. We really appreciate what they did for us.

Untrustworthy technician - did 40 min of work but charged for 75 min price. Also the quote given is more than twice than their competitors. Look elsewhere before you deal with them.

We recently had 2 sliding gates installed (for home and a rental) and the entire team have been fantastic from Corey in quoting and sales to Nick and Alex at install and everyone in between. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and was very surprised to read some of the other reviews because the people I dealt with were outstanding at every level in communication and professionalism from the start to the end of the process.

I recently had automatic gate openers installed by TGDA. They were friendly, professional, well priced (I had a few quotes prior) and always maintained good communication with me. Highly recommend.
