We are thrilled with our finished product.
We had a customised automated gate manufactured and installed by Total Gate & Door Automation. Our Landscaper recommended TGDA. Corey and Nick were very present throughout the process and adapted as slight changes needed to happen to meet our needs. Our gate matches perfectly with our Hamptons fencing and the work is top quality. The ladies in the office were also really lovely to deal with as were the install team. Absolutely rude receptionist.seems to think that she's the business owner.treated workers dismissively and was extraordinarily rude to waiting elderly customers. I went with another company even though they were more expensive. Imagine if your mother/grandmother was treated like this. No excuse for ignorance

From start to finish everything was explained. Time frame was on the mark from what was advised from the get go. Overall quality of the custom gate and components is top notch.

After getting a few quotes for a new sliding gate, I found the quote from TGDA competitive, while also detailed. My site was considered "difficult" by other companies, but the team at TGDA knew exactly what they were doing at every step of the way.

TGD did an amazing job. Corey and his crew were beyond helpful. I attempted to get another fencing company to provide some gates, but I felt like I was trying to sell them the opportunity to install them. Their quote was unintelligible and seeking clarification about the plans proved impossible. They wasted so much of my time. In contrast, Corey provided a prompt quote, answered questions that I had, and modified plans at short notice – after the job had been commenced. The final product is perfect. I have a sliding gate that opens with Remootio and two swing gates. One small pedestrian gate and a larger gate that is wide enough for my ride on mower. The latter gate was created after the posts were installed. Corey converted a fence panel into a gate to enable me to reach parts of my property that were inaccessible to the mower in the past.
I don’t usually provide online endorsements and ratings, but TGD provided extraordinary service and a sturdy, quality gates just as I envisaged. TGD are worthy of a 5 star rating.

Edited review: After some initial problems in organising a quote and scheduling repairs, I finally had someone come to my home to complete the work needed to get my automatic gate and garage door repaired.

The service provided was to a high standard and the work completed quickly. Everything is now working as it should once again. Thank you.

Very poor customer service technician did not arrive when booked no follow up phone call. Charged $150 to attend residence and quoted on replacement gate motor system $1,333.20 which can be bought online for $800 so how much of mark up is this. Also not prepared to waive service fee of new quote supplied. Also charge 1.0% surcharge when paying by credit card while competitors do not.

We got a gate made to spec to match an existing emu wire fence. The concreting job was finished really well and has resulted in a really smooth sliding, quiet gate that looks great and adds an extra dimension of safety and security as we are on a bit of a busy road. Our neighbour undertook a similar project with someone else recently and now wished they had used TGA. 4 x 2 button remotes and the garage door synced to it as well as the gate! A great result, thank you!

The company who installed my gate did an OK job programming my Nice motor, but did not want to provide any follow up service when one of the sensors failed. Instead they recommended an electrician who got the door going (by cleaning the problem sensor) but did not know much about programming Nice equipment and therefore could not help me with additional services.
I then found TG&DA (recommended by Nice Australia). They came out, designed the solution exactly how I wanted it, gave me a couple of options to choose from and, when I went ahead with the quote, sent out a very competent technician who did an excellent job getting the solution exactly how I wanted it. He did extra programming to what was quoted and even left me some spare caps and screws for the sensors.

TGDA came up with a solution to my issue of a failed Logic Board, could have sold me a complete new unit but found a replacement which saved me about $1.4K. Would definitely use again.

Cannot recommend TGDA enough. Nick and the team went out of their way to make sure we were happy every step of the way. They even added a few extra things to enhance our security and did not charge any extra. We have had very positive comments from neighbours on how great the finished product looks.

Very happy with the design and installation of my new gates. I needed a new board for my 18 year old swing gate mechanism. The company DID NOT try and sell me a new system. Andrew, the installer was amazing. Efficient, informative and completed the job efficiently. Thank you Andrew for a great job. Gates are back working perfectly and nice to know that you consider by mechanism as still one of the best on the market. A complete upgrade for a third of total replacement cost.
