The Port Club reviews
66 It might be a good idea to stock some drinkable wines one day;
very limited selection.
Food average and cold.
Melbourne Cup day was magnificent. Good food, everything one wants on this day.
Recommend
Food is average and overpriced. Service appalling, dear waitress please stop throwing the plates at the table, the customers dont need to know if you are angry at something
Slow staff.dirty and grubbie poker machines that need more attention.very poorly is all i can say.but there is pirate life beer
The food for $25.00 per head was very average butter chicken ok steak and mushroom hard to find any tender meat hard to find meat, keeped running out of food and bread just expected better from a top football club
My club, my footy teams, my kinda people, and the food is good too. A friend and I go to Talking Footy every Thursday night and love catching up with friends there.
I didn't dislike it, I just thought the food was ordinary. You can get that sort of food at any pub in the Port, and cheaper. Sorry.
Love going to the club to watch a game. More tables and chairs are needed towards the back near the bar.
Lovely staff, great service.
Cleanliness: top.
Buffets: a cold and a warm. I tested only the warm one which one was 5 stars worth.
Main: looking to the plates over other guests all was well presented and hot.
I rate The Port Club with 5 stars too for the meal I did chose after an inner struggle between homemade Meatballs and my final choice of Camembert stuffed Chicken Breast, sauce reflecting the Port Adelaide Heritage in using native ingredients.
Menu: two cards, one regular meals and one the Specials of the day.
Prices are from family-friendly to normal.
The Port Club is definitely a place to go, table reservation is recommended especially at #PortPower home games.
For Moscato lovers: you should try a glass full, silky soft, full taste and the best: served in a 'real' glass instead the 'flowervases':)
The people took our school on a tour and were amazing. Reccomend for students of year 6/7 and above.
Good place to.sit have a.drink or a meal and take a walk back in time to all the port football club memorabilia of yesterday and today
Absolutely fantastic meal and great atmosphere! The whole family loved it. We will certainly be returning!
The dinner at the Port Club certain days of the week was excellent value for the money especially with the two very large pieces of Fish, check it out sometime if you get down that way, Regards, FRANK LOMBARD.
Good selection of beers at reasonable prices. The ground andnouter areas are spacious and comfortable when watxhing games here with plenty of food and drink outlets.
Ive never had a meal in the club. I only come to watch footy and have a coldy at half time.
Inside the walls are covered with pictures of past and recent players.
It always makes me sad to see the old Magpie players and how they gave their all for such a great club but now its just part of the AFL franchise. Where players come and go, none will ever know the respect and loyalty those before them had for the once sacred Magpie Guernsey.
Went there for a work event, very old building toilets smelt and the doors didnt even close properly.
Excelent Facilities; Great menu options; includes specials and Seniors Menu; Salad and veg bar;
TAB and Gaming Facilities
Wonderful venue good meals and a great salid bar. Good air conditioning this summer. Pleasant staff.
Was pretty as good as usual. Meal was pretty good but not what I normally get there. Maybe an off day or the cut of the meat maybe. Other than that all very good.
Great place to go if you are a Port Adelaide fan or even just into Adelaide history. Nice bar facilities and good meals. All the walls are filled with trophies and memorabilia from as far back as 1870. Well worth a look.
