The Port Club reviews
66Had breakfast with my family watching the Power train. Great service and good food, we’ll be back.
Delicious meals at very good prices. Staff were very accommodating when making our booking and ensured we had low tables with suitable chairs for older family members. Our younger family members enjoyed kicking footballs around on the oval after lunch, while the adults watched on from the balcony tables. The memorabilia downstairs was a great talking point for everyone too. If you are lucky enough, you might even bump into a past or current player while you are there! Highly recommended venue for all ages.
Nice atmosphere. Typical pub food menu, food was nice, service was good. Will go again naturally because I'm a power supporter.
Came to the Precinct to watch the showdown. Watched the mighty Crows beat Port Adelaide and their prison bars, sure I got abused a little (wore all my Crows gear) but most of it was light hearted. Didn't even have my motorbike stolen which was nice. The bar staff asked if I was a Port member which was a little strange but I was served a brilliant schnitzel and it didn't seem tampered with, couldn't taste the spit. I'll be back for the next showdown! ️
I recently visited The Precinct at Alberton and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the spacious foyer and wide staircase leading up to the bar and kitchen. The industrial past of the Port Adelaide district is evident in the design and decor, and it adds a unique charm to the place️
The club museum is a must-see for any Port Adelaide Football Club fan. The timeline of the club’s history, every Premiership team, touch screens with detailed club information and a suite of Port Adelaide memorabilia are all available to peruse free of charge. The replica locker room is the centrepiece of the museum and it’s easy to imagine what it would be like to don the famous club colours
After exiting the museum, I headed to the newly developed Port Store and was impressed by the range of club merchandise available. Heading up the grand staircase, I entered into a vibrant bar and kitchen area where I enjoyed gourmet pizzas and some of South Australia’s best beers on tap. The modern, industrial feel is complemented by a double-sided fireplace and multiple screens to catch all the biggest sporting events live
The view of Alberton Oval and the vista of the Adelaide Hills from the deck is breathtaking. It’s set up perfectly for a Friday night platter, some relaxed drinks with friends or as a prime viewing spot for AFLW and SANFL action on game day
I highly recommend The Precinct at Alberton for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Adelaide. The combination of history, modern design and delicious food make it a must-visit destination
Went to Precinct for dinner. Damien that works in front Bar is Amazing. Fantastic Customer Service! Thank you
We were served by MK. She was efficient & hardworking.
Our meal choice was grilled Flathead, salad & chips with tartare sauce on the side. We were served our meal within 10 minutes, which was impressive.
It was fresh, hot and tasty.
Thank you for your outstanding service. It’s greatly appreciated.
I want to the portion of the Mills are too small, way too expensive and not a fine-dining restaurant. Your righteous are very poor, the service was very slack, the pizzas were absolutely us casting, and your Caesar salad I was pulling out pink leaves. I'm no chef I thought Caesar so was meant to be green leaves.
Loved it. Food and service was good, and didnt break the bank.
Just being inside the walls of Alberton is a great experience.
I haven't been to the Port Club for years, the whole place is an eye opener
The dining hall was bustling at the seams.had a wonderful lunch their, plenty of options highly recommended
Delicious food, lovely staff, friendly, great place to have lunch. We had the Flathead, S&P Squid and yodah beef spare rib. We also had desserts which were yum?
Looks fantastic after their upgrades. Museum is worth a visit and the food, wine, service is A1.
Great dining experience. We went there on Father's Day. Loved the food and the view. Staff were great too. Kid friendly environment and lifts available.
Had the beef burger - $25. The beef patty was almost half the diameter of the bun, burnt, dry and bland. Had to pull out the odd bit of hard bits (bone?) out of my mouth - more than likely due to low quality mince being used. Bun was not fresh either. There are not many choices on the menu so you would think what they serve should be done well. On a positive, did not have to wait too long for food to be served, good atmosphere with a great view of Alberton oval.
Wow. Exceptional. I have known the Port Club for the best part of 60 years. This new venue is bedazzling. The view for a footy game combined with the new premise has to be THE best in South Australia. Congratulations to the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Amazing. Just needs a few more stand tables when the footy is on TV. But just fab. Great coffee and the beer choices are great! Didn't have food but saw it go past me, it looked very yummy.
First visit since all of the updates have been done. Had a great meal there and a good look all around the Precinct and loved what has been done. Museum, Port Store and Dining. Great job Port.
Food was average, staff were inexperienced & not friendly. Wouldn't go back in a hurry.it's a shame as the actual renos are great!
The overall experience was amazing. The staff was very professional and friendly. MK in the restaurant was such a pleasure and really helpful. In the downstairs games room the staff made us feel special, it felt like a lucky place to be. I recommend the Port Adelaide Club to be a good place to visit.
Having been 3 times now can say they’ve done a great job of the fit-out however the food continues to be average. On game days bar service can be slow.
