The Little Hunter reviews
68Not the upmarket kind of steakhouse but Really good steak, beer, chips, spinach at reasonable prices.what’s not to like! Get there early or book as the chef leaves at 9 and you need to be there well before for them to consider serving you. Friendly staff. Porterhouse was good and juicy!
It is a great place for having the dinner.
Besides, I am looking forward to being a floor staff or kitchen hand in your restaurant. I can speak both English and Mandarin. I am available to work for night shift everyday. It is my pleasure to be a part of your member if I will be able to work at your restaurant.

Meh.for the price you pay there are far better steak restaurants. My step sons meal was inedable.the meat had this wierd sour taste to it and we were not offered a replacement or refund. We were asked if we wanted more drinks about 10000 times though. I didn't realise it's in the woolshead complex and being a Saturday night all the young kids were comming in for pre drinks, it was super annoying. It's honestly more like a pub than a restaurant. Like I said plenty of other places you could get a better meal, especially for the insane price they charge.
My garlic sauce was watery and flavorless, mash was stodgy and boring.
A couple of the female staff were increadibly unprofessional, gossiping and cuddling each other in the doorway entrance while people were trying to get in and out. There was a big brawl in the street which staff felt was more entertaining than doing their job. This place is totally overrated
It's a nice, urban atmosphere. Unfortunately, if you get the 7pm dinner slot be prepared to receive your entrees and mains at the same time. Oh! And if you get the Espresso Martini deal which is supposed to be 2 for $15 be sure you ask them if it's current. We were overcharged and received a ridiculous excuse when we inquired.
The 3 stars was because the food was great but the service.not so much.
Amazing food. Entrees were fast and fresh. Rib eye was cooked to perfection. Truffle mash, rosemary steakhouse chips and baked potato were delicious. Mushroom sauce, blue cheese sauce and aioli were spot on.
Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Fantastic customer service. Every person working was smiling and approachable. Quick to serve. Meals were served relatively quickly also. Easy parking for a city location. Will definately go back!
Great meat dishes. The servings are large so perhaps go for a main with a side salad and give the entrees a miss. Good atmosphere and friendly staff who know the food and wine and can make informed recommendations.
Nope.
Tried to dine here on a quiet Monday night. Much too busy for a walk in table of one.
It's hard to give a positive review without tasting the food.
*Edit* I've tried subsequently -twice- to try the food, again to be turned away from a mostly empty restaurant on very quiet week nights. And the one-star review? Each time, without fail, the staff have been dismissive and rude. Perhaps they don't like the look of me? Adelaide has sone great hospitality workers, but you won't find any of them here.
The best Ribs in the world! Sliping off the bone and melting in the mouth.
I believe that everything is very tasty!
We had the 300g Black Angus Scotch Fillet! It was delicious! We also liked the fries! Staff was very friendly. If you want a good piece of meat in Adelaide, go there!
The 300g rump steak was delicious as well as the mashed potatoes and spinach. Refreshing unpretentious atmosphere and friendly staff. All in all perfect experience.
My steak was over cooked and it was impossible to get the attention of the staff. I was hungry so i ate it and left dispointed on my birthday!
Staff are awesome, great atmosphere, great place to hang in beer garden.plus awesome place for real steaks
Nice place for a few drinks and a steak my friends meat sticks also looked impressive. Wine was reasonably priced tap beer selection was limited mostly to james squire staff were friendly and attentive
We mainly ordered the steaks and ribs. Though the wait was quite long about 20min, it was worth it. Another reason for the long wait was also due to us being a large group of 7. All the food was served together and it was simply amazing. The 750g rib eye was cooked to near perfection as per requested, medium rare.
Cannot fault this restaurant aesthetics are insane! They had live acoustic music, welcoming staff and the food was great! Me and my partner both loved it!
Tucked down an alley way off Hindley st this pub/steak house offers great atmosphere, excellent service and a mighty meat fest. If you want your meet cooked to perfection, tender and juicy then this is the place.
Food was good but ordered beer A got beer B. Orderd the ribs but came back to be told they were out so orderd something to else. After the rest of the tables had finished their meals I asked where hell mine was as I was still waiting. Never again.
Had the 750g Riv Eye.
Cooked to perfection. Everyone at the table more than impressed with the quality ans quantity of food. Large beer selection also which included craft beers.
Staff were very helpful and attentive.
Highly recommend this place
We had a 500g sirloin and ribs cooked perfectly all the way through. Entree was amazing as well! Great staff and meals came quickly after ordering. Great ambience, bar staff are not shy at all talking about their beers. Plates were hot and the glasses were ice cold very nice place to eat
Stuck in the back section after booking 3 days in advance, asked to be moved in to where it was warm and told me to leave rather. The restaurant was empty when I arrived but this was still not accommodated.
When we finally decided to stay and ordered, the steak was over cooked the chips were dry and unflavoured. The schnitzel was something I could do better myself and paid extra for any sauce or gravy. They will never see me again.
