The Lion Hotel

Had my 21st here a few weeks ago. Events staff were fantastic in the organisation of the night and looked after us very well on it. Couldn't thank them enough.

Great food and amazing value wings on Wednesdays but extremely limited dietary options (they recently removed the only vegetarian dish I liked).

The steak was one of the best in adelaide. Absolutely delicious. The sauce, the onions, the mash all worked so well. Then the lamb was just master chef stuff. Such complex flavours with mushrooms, a nutty paste tying the meat with the veg. Great experience. Very much recommended.

Had meal in the dining room, food was incredible, very tasty and the presentation was superb. Top notch

Very nice food always a pleasure to dine here. They didn't have the wine that was in the menu so substituted one that was an amazing surprise.

We attended a private dinner where the food was delicious and we were very well cared for particularly by Tiffany.

Lion hotel and staff were once again amazing on Anzac day 2019. As they are every Anzac day. So great to have these on board. As Always we'll be back

Always great on Thursday night's with Clearway playing. That band is getting better as they get older. 30 years + says it all!

The fine dining restaurant is excellent - amazing Asian fusion and even better service. The pub itself is lovely, nightly live music and a large selection of craft beer on tap.

Fun crowd, has changed to be more mainstream over the years which is great. Great band and atmosphere.

Really excellent dinner for three. Everything ordered from starters, main course and deserts was excellent. The baramundy was cooked perfectly. The service staff were exemplary: happy, cheerful and low key efficient. A great evening - many thanks.

Nice spot to people watch. Huge inside space is really nice. Not great for the food health conscious but great atmosphere. Staff in cafe side very friensly and helpful. Staff in bar side not so much. They do good daily specials if your a meat eater.

The platter for 2 was a bit dissapointing compared with platters ordered in other cafes, not much selection.
I would go again, but would order differently next time.

One of the basins in ladies was leaking when tap was open which flooded the floor! There should have been a 'OUT OF ORDER' sign at least.

I was staying next door at the Lion apartments for 5 or so days and this was very handy for me to get a meal and a glass of wine when I didn't feel like cooking. Great staff and food.

Lunch was served by 3.30 for a 1pm booking.it was a large group.dessert at 4.30.we had to be out by 5.

Looking for an upscale venue, made a reservation in the Lion restaurant.
The restaurant is next door to the casual dining area and bar.
Staff are friendly and helpful with menu suggestions and attentitive.
Has a relaxing ambient atmosphere.
Loved their rottiserie black angus scotch fillet steak! So much flavour! Was cooked perfectly to my liking and the jus was also very nice.
Desserts were also great quality and full of flavour.
Overall an excellent dining experience.

Loved this place all though I think they need to make a space for a dance floor not just everywhere makes it very tight and squishy but I will always go back

Largest range of tap beer we could find in Adelaide. The pub has been renovated to a tasteful but modern standard. I enjoyed a few Strawberry Berliner Weisses while watching the cricket from one of their comfy booths. Plenty of room at this pub.
