The d'Arenberg Cube reviews
65Loved it here - ate at Singapore Circus and it was first rate: delicious food, superb wines, friendly & knowledgeable staff and a tremendous space. The kind of kookiness presented can misfire but not at The Cube, it’s a delight.
An amazing experience on every floor. Special mention for Dami who guided us through our wine flight with knowledge and enthusiasm.
Amazingly different place A must do if you visit this wine region. Staff friendly, art and sculptures, weird and wonderful. Toilets an experience lol.
Great white wine tasting experience! The cube was an experience in itself - quirky and eerie.
We went to the cube today to visit as I gifted my husband a wine blending experience for his bday! The staff member (I can’t remember her name - 10: 30am monday 26th june- if that helps identify her) ) was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, my husband loved his gift! We also did a wine tasting after- Kobe was our staff member there and she was amazing- cannot speak highly enough how much she added to our experience - friendly, highly energised, bubbly, knew her stuff, knew how to read customers and that we love a joke, when we come again one day I want her again to lead us thru another column in the list! We then had lunch at Singapore circus- very nice Bonnie our staff member was friendly but a bit reserved we felt, food was amazing! Our experience today was nothing short of amazing and we cannot wait to come again!
This place features on all tourism brochures and ads promoting SA. We visited when the Salvador Dali exhibition was on.
There are 5 levels. To access the wine tasting room on level 5, that's $10. The exhibition was $15. We paid for both.
The wine tasting has plenty to choose from. Well catered for white and red drinkers. You stand at the bar and not sure if this is the norm or it just happened to me, but I had a couple of staff members look after my tasting. It was fairly busy for 3.30pm when we visited. If it was any busier, I wouldn't bother.
There's a restaurant on level 4, called Singapore Circus.
The exhibition was interesting and all art work is for sale.
The female toilets are on the second floor and they were the most wonderfully decorated toilets I've ever seen. (Check the photos). Each cubicle is decorated as well.
There for the Valentine's Day experience. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and so was the whole experience. Highly recommend a visit and dining in the Singapore circus
Good wine and a unique experience for anyone in the area. Just the choice of art was not to my particular taste
Quirky but confusing, small little area's not sure if we saw everything, very little in the way of signage, even with the supplied map it's a bit of a mish mash. Surround cinema one of the best parts but easy to miss and we only found it because a staff member told us it was there and admitted most people miss it. Just $10 entrance, so no complaints, silly toilets worth that, only those pulling up in their Mercedes can afford to eat there so don't forget to mortgage the house before you leave home if planning to eat there. Worth a look.
After 2 months in Australia & New Zealand, I can say this was one of the top 3 meals - and certainly the Number One eating experience.
Interesting art installation featuring sculptures by Salvador Dali and an eccentric collection of oddities. Great views of McLaren Vale vineyards and farmland from the top floor. Wine tastings are hosted on the top floor. Currently showcasing Dali art in the art gallery and available for sale.
We enjoyed a wine tasting and a meal at this very unique place. You want something different then plan this place into your day out. I will let not let the cat out of the bag
You come and enjoy a place with a difference. Thank you.
WOW, what an amazing place. The staff there are so lovely warm and friendly and without any false smiles. Thank you for a excellent experience.

Interesting stop. Very unique museum on the inside and quite alternative! The staff were fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful. History of the winery itself was great to learn. Worth a stop - and stop at the bathroom floor. Very much an experience
We have just had the most amazing experience! What a beautiful winery and the best service! Dee was a super host! Thanks so much! Will be back best $15 spent!
Ben our server was great for the wine tasting and brought the rating up a star on his own. The cube itself was cool from the outside but not as good on the inside. The wines were okay.
Went to d'Arenberg Cube for wine tasting. The entrance fee included the wine tasting which we could taste either the red or the white. Overall, the experience felt rather commerical as visitors stood while tasting the wine. Bought a bottle of Noble resiling at the end of the visit.
Visited the cafe after the lunch crowded. Was rather empty. Was nice to have a mug of coffee after all that alcohol.
I thought it would be a tourist trap! Nope.it was fabulous. From the interesting artwork and visual installation downstairs, to the amazing Dali works and prints and the super generous wine tasting experience complete with swimming wine stirring lady! Spent hours here and will return.
Beautiful surrounding scenery of the vineyards. And lots of art works on display. Loved the various sculptures. The day was overcast but nevertheless a beautiful winters day out at The d'Arenber
If you do one thing at McLaren Vale, visit the Cube. A quirky fascinating place, representative of the 4th generation winemaker, Chester Osborn. Talk about thinking outside the box (or is that the Cube?). An evening with Chester would certainly be out of this world, and the Cube reflects it. A real experience, great staff, and the restaurant onsite is first class. Just make sure you book.
