The Coffee Barn Gelateria reviews
59Was a stinking hot day, but awesome little spot, great vibe, decor and location. Icecreams were awesome, service was very friendly and helpful, milk drinks were just a touch lacking in flavour/punch. Great place, give it a try!
This is a great place for breakfast and and an Icecream at any time of the day. We had pancakes for breakfast the first time and then came back the next day for an Icecream. The staff are very friendly and the Icecream is terrific.
The Coffee Barn & Gelateria is a unique experience to enjoy
delicious home made Gelato made on the premises of many different flavors and ofcourse great Coffee!
For non coffee or gelato fans, gutsy milkshakes are also on the menu and yummy pancakes with various toppings.
There are quirky gardens to admire from the outdoor fly proof eating areas or enjoy inside the " barn" with memorabilia and a relaxed comfortable vide.
Oh my god it was amazing worth the trip but theres a catch you are out in butt ferkin now where but was really truely worth it. Service was great but very very busy. And it wasnt even hot
A great find, tucked away just outside of Moonta. Drinks, gelato and icecream options to suit everyone!
Excellent place with friendly staff. The homemade gelati is definitely worth a try. The Turkish delight is definitely a winner.
Sad shadow of yesteryear. Original owners brought passion and pleasure to the premises. Now run by business people who don't really have the knowledge and interest to make this a destination venue. We asked what panna cotta tasted like and were told it's Italian for 'cooked cream'. Cool fact. Doesn't answer the question. Typical example of the methodical, clunky, awkward style of service that now exists here.
Had a big road trip through the Yorke Peninsula, came past here on our travels, and omg. It was amazing. Coffee was frothy and lovely and great selection of amazing ice cream. Will definitely be back!
What a little gem! Had heard great stories and went looking for it when out on Yorks. Out of town and tucked in behind a b&b its well worth the hunt. Great coffee, efficient and friendly service and delicious pancakes and gelato. I'll be back!
Dissapointing selection of gelati, coco pops soft on the Nutella selection, nothing particularly amazing about this place, staff clearly would rather not be there.
Beautiful Cafe, friendly staff and pup
Unique homemade icecream flavours, try the Apple Crumble.
Once again surprised by the ever changing selection of gelato. The coffee hit the spot on a cold day and staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back again!
Best gelato ever, staff are really friendly and the prices are good a must for your copper coast holiday. It's the only gelato in Adelaide that reminds me of Italy
A local showed me this magnificent Gelateria in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. Servings were generous, customer service and new owners was great. Seating inside or outside.
I look forward to going back to enjoy the many other flavours on offer!
Tried a bit of everything and it was all delicious. Owners and all staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Loved it and so did the kids.
Being a "bit out of the way" adds to the charm of this place. BIG selection of icecreams. Some can be a bit tasteless after some of the stronger flavours, but all the more reason to go back and try some more!
Very disappointing. Coffee was watery, pancakes where more like a crepe but the gelati was the best i have ever tasted
Dollar for value is not that good. I will only go back to get gelati not thr pancakes or coffee
Reviews were very good. Thought we would try it out.
Absolutely awesome
Pancakes and coffee are definitely a must. Don’t think twice, the short drive is worth it
A nice hidden place that I recommend to anyone new that loves places like these. The pan cakes are to die for. Please be safe for us to enjoy.
We didn’t realise this little cafe only accepted cash before arriving, so we had to drive back to Moonta- make sure you have cash on you when you visit. Homemade truffles were delicious and my son enjoyed the gelato. Some unusual flavours that will take you back to Italy.
