Partner and I had the beef lemon grass curry overpriced tiny portion it was not a main like we ordered could not even taste the lemon grass
Tiny serve we eat out often so we know the difference dish was no good don’t know what the other food was like but they could not get that right don’t think I will be dining there again may just stop for a beer with no ordering of food MAYBE A BOWL OF CHIPS

Always excellent service. Had the massuman beef curry with chilli, really good.also had spring rolls and stay, no complaints all great, try it.

Recently I visited the Thai Orchid Restaurant at Henley Beach on the Esplanade. There was a large family table of us and the place was full of guests. The staff were extremely efficient for service and all the meals were tasty and satisfying. As we had a table by the window, the Ocean sunset made it a beautiful experience. Would love to go again sometime

Went to the restaurant yesterday to celebrate valentine day. They had a banquet/ fixed meal. Being vegetarian, we were served - cabbage salad in entree (full of cabbage/ poorly sliced) ; mains came another hour later- tofu and red curry- both small serve- no taste/. Since our booking was for 19: 30 and by the time, dinner started it was 21: 30, we requested them to pack, what was left of dinner- stir fry vegetables and phad Thai. Red curry and tofu had given us the idea of what to expect!
Staff was polite. Extremely slow service: poor quality food; very expensive.
What a waste of three hours. Lesson learnt. Will never recommend to anyone.

Extremely rude staff. I'm happy to accept your policy of no food from other places - but to the average customer it's not obvious that the bar and restaurant are connected. Tables don't have it written either.

We would have been happy to also order from their restaurant once the rule was made clear, but the staff simply started packing up our drinks with no explanation! Our table was in shock, and simply requested to also order from their restaurant. This request was denied.

I'd love to find out what their food is like, but customer service was so appalling that I would never want to contribute to this business again.

To the management - please understand that though you may face this issue on the daily, the average customer is not aware of your policies. You have no right treating customers so rudely.

The worst thia food I have ever had. The food was not fresh at all. Also, it was way too expensive for the quality that we received.

Best food in Adelaide. Great outside bar.

Monday, 13 December. I had no time to cook I got home late. I came straight to the Thai Orchid. I watch the sunset whilst enjoying Thai food. I thought I was actually in Thailand on the beachfront enjoying both the sea and food at the same time

Beautiful food, lovely cocktails, reasonable service given that it was a saturday night and packed.

Good place to have Thai cuisine at Uber beautiful location. Food was really well made, my personal favourite was chicken choo chee omg what flavours.highly recommend for your next visit.ambiance was pretty good as staff was dressed in their cultural outfits it was totally giving whole Thailand vibes.

The lady on sundays arvo is very rude. I wait 20 minutes to order drinks at the outside bar and only because my partner had chips from other place she didnt want to sell me the beers. Very disappointed for the lack of common sense for someone working in hospitality. First and last time coming here. It seems you dont need new costumers.

Amazing food and a great location. Love the red duck curry. Had my dads 70th there recently and the staff were amazing!

I spent $150 on meals and drink with my family, then right at the end when we were about to leave, one of the staff said “just so you know, it’s against our policy to have food from other places on our table”. I asked what she was talking about, and realised she was referring to my young daughter who had a small closed box of chips that we had picked up along the way earlier. It was a ridiculous comment to make from staff at Orchid, given the idea of such policies is for people who don’t spend any money at their restaurant and sit at their table.

Most of the staff were lovely. There’s an old hag behind the bar who looked and treated majority of the younger crowd, including my table of 8 people all drinking cocktails, with a look of disgust for us being there. We came up for constant drinks and was spending money yet every time we came up for another round. There was no resolve as we tried our best to not annoy anyone. She still did not show care. Was ridiculous.

Cannot fault the service - friendly and kind staff and a beautiful setting looking out across Henley jetty. Spring rolls and green curry were too yum but the pad Thai didn’t pack much of a punch. Overall, very nice dining experience

Its honestly not real authentic Thai food. As I have been to Bangkok, Thailand myself and have experienced the food. Its very different.

Nice food and flavourful! A bit noisy as we were sitting indoor and extremely busy- but overall- we will coming back!
