It was my first time there and will definitely be going back. The ambience is great. Its very clean, first class and looks good. Our host Steve was incredibly friendly, a super personable bloke. He made our experience pretty cool. The food came out super quick and the quality was superb. 5 stars for you guys! Keep up the good work. See you again soon Stavro. Rgds Panayioti

Food was VERY OILY - meat overcooked within an inch of its life and hard to chew - Greek salad came out on its own, like it was a course, not accompanied by anything else. Should of been served with meat or something.another course, alsi served on its own, to shared with several people was a slice of fried up saganaki cheese! On a plate! Not served with anything.who eats a plate of oily cheese on its own? And after a very expensive meal, which was of several courses, the only option available was as far as a hot drink, was a cup of bitter watery coffee, with skim milk becomes they run out of full creme mikl! They couldn't send a staff to grab a carton full cream milk from the petrol station?

charged extra $2.50 FOR EACH SLICE of our own cake! Times 30 people adds up! Really unreasonable. What's the big deal? $1 would have been reasonablY.the waitresses was very friendly and nice though.one good thing.the bread, very oily but delicious.and the dips were also delicious too.

Myself and a group of friends dined at the Taverna recently. Because we had over 10 people, we had to go with the "banquet" style. No Ala Carte. Food was delicious, but in terms of quantity of food for a banquet, it was a little disappointing. When we dined at Taverna Greek before, we'd pay around $65 for an entree and mains and get huge serves. When we pay $65 banquet style, the quantity is much less, which like I said, is disappointing. In hindsight, we should have booked as two tables of 7, then we could have had Ala Carte. Our combined food bill was $845.00, and being in the food industry myself, the cost of the raw meats and veg would have been about $80 - that's a pretty good markup, too much in fact. We'll give the Taverna another go no doubt in the future, but will definitely not do banquet.

Went with a large family group. Service was great. Favourite dishes were the pita and dips, fried squid and fried whitebait. Unfortunately they don't accept Maxxia food and entertainment cards.

The restaurant is far larger than it looks on the outside, nor does the outside reflect what it is like on the inside. The food was amazing! I had the jumbo quails and they were juicy end full of flavour, the staff were friendly but the one thing that doesn’t make this a 5 star experience (and seems to be a common complaint) is the mains didn’t all come out at once and the gap between all the dishes coming out was not insignificant, if people who go their food first and they had waited for everyone else it would have been stone cold.

This is a beautifully designed restaurant, with lovely staff and excellent food. I've dined here a few times over the past 6 months and every time I've had a wonderful meal. You can tell a lot about the quality of the food from their attention to detail to the simple things.the pita bread is fluffy and delicious, and they use good quality Greek feta in their salad. I especially loved the saganaki and lemon potatoes. I look forward to going back and trying other dishes from the menu.

I work nearby so called in for a quick meal even though it is full service venu. Since then the whole family has been. Its not cheap but the servings are big and delicious. The desserts are also great. Definitely sized for sharing. Its a great place for a get together with great food.

Stopped in for last minute take away and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the service was great.

Looks beautiful inside, will definitely go back with the wife for a sit down meal.

Great food! It is expensive, but it is definitely worth the money. I was fuller than a Queensland Policeman's Wallet! Will be back. We had the Lamb Souvlaki and the Goat for Mains. I highly recommend this place to fill your bellies.

Very nice food and service good although restaurant very quiet.but shocked at the price of the food.over 200% the cost for pita and dips than at comparable good Greek cuisines.mains comparable but still about 150%. Maybe post COVID prices but too expensive for us to return

I was invited for a dinner and enjoyed the beautiful Greek setting at the beginning, Food quality was really good and service was good too. Recommending this lovely restaurant to all.

Been here previously around the start of the year and was excellent above expectations, went the other night, prices have increased and way to expensive for what I received, would be happy to pay top dollar if the food was up to scratch but it is far from it, where do I start My girlfriend received undercook raw chicken skewers, the calamari was overcooked but was okay atleast, and the staff were fairly poor, I was hoping for a better out come but was not as expected, they did take away the chicken and served as a new serving but after seeing the first time it was raw it was a complete put off many know raw chicken it’s not a good sight, it’s a shame cause you expect to have the best with the prices they charge which is Absurd. The staff need more training lack of responsiveness and really poor service, , they gave us the wrong bill in the end which they messed up by a lot as they had no record of what we ate so being a good human beings as anyone would we kindly explain what we got to this young waitress. In the end when we received our proper bill I spoke to another worker there telling them I was no impressed with the service and food quality I would think they would not charge us for the meal they served raw or atleast given us a discount on the bill but all they Said was sorry not much we can do about this then finishing with hope yous come back, I respect them apologising, I then paid and walked out, not sure if they just had a bad night but I am put off going back there for a while after this unpleasant experience, I know it’s one time this has happened to me and reading other reviews most people love the food which I did when I first tried this restaurant but when going to a supposedly Quality restaurant like this you expect abit more from them, anyways I thought I’d share my honest opinions with the community.
