The food was amazing, service was exceptional! It's no wonder it was busy and had to turn people away. We really enjoyed it!

Great Thai food with many vegetarian options or dishes that can be made vegetarian. Food isn't too heavy like Thai food should be, good wine list and not a bad beer list though they had run out of a couple of the beers. Staff were warm and welcoming and service was excellent. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

A gem of a restaurant that offers regional Thai cuisines that will inspire you to visit Thailand when travel restrictions are lifted. Arrived without a booking, but Oscar's charm and effort enticed us to dine-in at this fully booked venue. Here my foodie friend became mesmerized at the many dishes on offer. Sam took the time to go over the dishes offering suggestions to their signature dishes. Friendly, personable and approachable we felt valued as if we were life long friends who have not seen each other in ages. Sam and Oscar took the time out to give time to their customers, something that many restaurants in Adelaide tend to fall short in this area making you think twice about returning. However Soi 38 superseded our expectations in the service and food. We left wanting to try out their lunch menu as well as anticipate their upcoming opening of another restaurant on Pirie Street that will be larger and offer more unique Thai dishes. Thanks Sam and Oscar for taking care of us. For those who have not had the opportunity to dine at Soi 38, make reservations to avoid disappointment.

Friendly and courteous staff, clean / cozy/ nice ambiance and seating. Amazing food quality and very scrumptious. Everything on menu is great but will recommend chive cakes and pad Thai.
Must repeat, 10/10.

Delightful Thai food! Food came out promptly, and was delicious. Love that there were vegan options for the usually heavy fish/shrimp dishes. Friendly staff and we were quickly seated. Thank you!

The food is fabulous. You can ask for more spice but its not dor the faint heart. We ate the grill octopus with nam jim, the chargrill was perfect. The spice in Red Curry Goat was on point. Execellent service and food!

We have enjoyed good food and service over a couple of years here, but lately we notice that meat in a few of the dishes is consistently dry and tough (notably, chicken in the Pad Thai and beef in the Massaman curry). This is one thing I expect restaurants to get right. I'm perfectly capable of cooking meat until it's dry and like boot leather at home!

Me and my date have been here twice to eat.
We love the warm vibe to your restaurant. Very welcoming entry and have been nicely greeted on both occasions. We highly recommend the Pippi dish. We have ordered this on both occasions. One improvement to the dish would be to remove the broken pippi shells from the dish so it doesn’t get onto the rice causing us to crunch on them and ruining our teeth. We didn’t particularly like the octopus entree. We found the dish quite salty and the octopus to be quite chewy. I loved the goat curry. The meat literally melted into my mouth. Food was reasonably quick to come out. Friendly staff. A restaurant to check out for sure. Photos of food we have ordered for reference.

Food is very delicious and unique. Only let down was the reservation system allocated us a table and they were reluctant to seat us at an alternative table despite many tables being free.

Had the feed me option 4 courses of multi regional thai very tasty interesting broad range of style and taste.

Expensive but reasonable size serves beware they can spice up the dishes to hot so get the water ready!

Service was fantastic all waitresses were around the menu what each dishes region and ingredients were well done staff

Definately worth a visit but be warned of cost and spice.

Pork belly was crispy outside and perfectly juicy on the inside. The banana leaf salad with prawns was very fresh. Service was excellent. Only downside was the price. $52 for 2 dishes and a rice.

Not very welcoming for solo diners. You only get offered the worst table nearest the toilets and a busy passageway even if only a handful of tables are occupied.

Mushroom stir fry and water spinach were quite tasty, however the prawn spring rolls were very dissapointing. It appeared a hot prawn tail that was placed in the end of a cold roll of thick pastry filled with a tasteless mush of.well something. When paying $19 for three small spring rolls, you are expecting something special.

Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining in outside of Thailand. Pork belly was delicious paired with some sticky rice. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the dishes they serve and the morning glory with garlic was tasty! #BeatTheGrind

The best Thai (Pad Thai in particular) you will ever eat, made by an extremely skilled Thai chef. Wonderful couple that own this establishment, you can taste the love they put into their food, and feel it in the atmosphere of the place. 6/5, a true gem in the heart of the city. Can not recommend enough! Thank you guys so much!

Interesting menu, quite unique. I had the pippies, delicious. The chive cakes are tasty too (watch out for the chilli in the sauce though!). Almost everything is GF, big tick. I've been here 3 times & tried different meal each time, 1 was good, 2 were excellent.

We were in Adelaide for a business trip and decided on Thai. Amazing food and out of this world staff! The girls were super friendly and knowledgeable.
