Stirling Chickens reviews
59Fantastic chips very crisp, great selection of salads & tasty chicken. The shop is very clean & fastidiously maintained.
Very busy but the staff worked hard and the orders were completed really quick. Hood quality food as chippies go.
Nice local fish n chips. However calling ahead and arriving on time for pickup will still find you waiting in the lobby for another 10mins
This is one of our pit stops after going to the mount Lofty summit or mount Lofty Botanical gardens, so we usually come to Stirling chickens and grab a chicken roll (which uses lilydale free range chicken and is quite tasty) and some chips then we head down to the park outside of the library, absolutely beautiful there. It's almost a must do whenever we are nearby
Excellent food. Recommend the chicken and salads. Great salads - taste and variety. Good service too.
I have been a very satisfied customer for many years.
Chickens, Burgers, Fish, Chips & more all cooked perfectly.
Great salads to go with anything.
Open convenient hours & good value for money.
Happy, friendly staff.
Highly recommended.
Great fish and chips plus a wide rsnge of quality salads. Great guys to deal with, very friendly.
Awesome quality food, fairly priced, usually quite friendly unless there under the pump. That aside food is amazing
Amazing chips, although can be underdone when busy (just ask them to make sure they're crispy)
Fantastic friendly staff
Burgers with the Lot are second to none, (although you have to request pineapple and beetroot)
All round great take away shop run by locals supporting locals.
It's an awesome place prices are reasonable and the food is Yummy. There is a bit of a wait at times but worth it.
Yummy! Been here many, many times, very friendly and the best chips! Ask for them (the chips) to be cooked a bit longer and they are the best I've ever had! The chicken is also excellent.
Yeah pretty much the only good fish and chip shop around Stirling and Aldgate, but the price is getting fricken ridiculous these days. If an owner reads this: Please $4.80 for minimum chips and then not giving us half of what you used to when minimum was $3.50 ish is too much
Top quality joint. I love the food, super duper scrumptious. The staff were awesome and friendly, I highly recommended it.
If the size of the queue at times is anything to go by, these guys are super busy as they are much loved takeaway shop.
Always great service and reasonably priced food. Good range of menu for a little chicken shop. For how busy it gets, the staff do a great job to get the orders consistently right and out to customers so quickly.
Coming in to this takeaway shop with friends after school became a highlight of my week. Now after leaving High School, I still make to effort to go out of my way to get their legendary "Hangover" (Yiros meat over their hot chips).
You certainly get your money's worth as well! It's still great to get $10 worth of hot chips and share it with about 5 other people.
Friendly staff,
Had a burger with the lot, lacked beetroot (-3 stars), have to ask for pineapple (-1 stars)
But the paddy was literally the best! (+2 stars)
Good amount and ratio of burger stuffs (+1 Star)
I'm really just rating my burger.
5 stars when beetroot and pineapple are with 'The Lot'
Did you hear the one about the chicken who entered the cow beauty competition? They thought he was an 'udder' joke and they moo'd him off.
