Stirling Chickens

Dreadful chicken snity that they cut into many pieces (without being asked to) and then smothered in so much over salted Gravy that it was inedible. Save your $14.95 it was terrible. Probably worst part of experience, was not the 20 min wait for it but was the young employee who came out from the back area, took his cap off, scratched his head, touched his backside and then immediately handled trays of uncooked chips without apparently washing his hands.

Always busy, friendly staff and food is very reliable. Have been here many times for chicken, chips as well as salad and have never had problems.

Wanted a chicken burger from a chicken shop.looked great but the chicken pattie was just a mass produced frozen one. Thought a chicken shop would use a fresh breast at the very least, not buy them from a wholesaler. Didnt even taste like chook. Wife had steak Sandwich which was nice.

I called and ordered at 4: 02 and told them I would be there in 20 minutes and when I got there at 4: 19 they hadn't even started cooking my food yet. I may as well have just not ordered ahead.

The chips were horrible they were hard, old oil maybe I asked for soft chips not to crunchy and the potato fritters were hard and so oily never going back there again would not recommend it to anyone

Fantastic place for hot packs!

How good is it to grab a quarter chicken hot pack and go sit somewhere nearby and munch? In the winter there's nothing better. Its maybe 5-7°C out and you're eating a piping hot chook. And they're really well priced! In Stirling! And they're friendly and of course they're busy. Looking forward to it this winter

Best Takeaway on the Southern side of the Adelaide Hills. I Drop past everytime I'm in the area to say gday to the Great Folk there and get a Fantastic Meal.

Lovely service, good size meals and delicious salads. The food is very tasty and fresh. Visit out of busy times and get served very quickly. Highly recommended.

I've changed my rating from 5 to 2 stars as the food quality and effort has declined. Used to be one of my family's favourite chicken shops but unfortunately no longer is.

Great food. Came across stiing chickens over Easter weekend when our normal takeaway was shut. The service is great and friendly and the food is well cooked and tastes fresh. The chips are cooked so well. I love how they are wrapped up rather than bagged. The burgers are very filing and they have soft Dampier looking rolls which always taste so fresh. We now make this our go to even though it is a bit more of a drive.

As always - really good chicken? Chips and salads. Just need to remember that on a Friday night there is often a long wait but they tell you how long and they are pretty accurate. Nice friendly staff.

Generous portion size of chicken and fresh salad in the quarter chicken salad pack, great value for money and fast, friendly service. I definitely recommend Stirling Chicken highly

Have been visiting stirling chickens for almost 10 years now have had 1 mediocre experience every other time has been superb 12/10 rating 5 stars is not enough

Whilst products are of good quality and reasonable price, this store is nearly always busy, causing very long wait times for even a small chips.

Enjoyable consistent food and great service! Sometimes wait times for food are a little long but overall good.

We have been going to Stirling Chickens for a loooooong time. This place gets really busy, so does pay to ring ahead and pre-order. Have been quoted a 50 minute wait time for a phone order on a Friday evening; obviously we went elsewhere.

The food though is good and they have a great range of salads too. Our it is our go to place for takeaway.

Been coming here since i was 5 years old. They honeslty they do a better feed than the pub. Would recommend.

Love the Stirling fish n chip shop. Awesome staff, wonderful fresh tasting food, love the 3 brothers/ owners. Amazing family business.

You get the choice of 3 salads which get piled in! Such great value and enough salad for another meal for sure!
Stirling chickens are worth the 15min drive for us! A great family owned takeaway store in the Hills.
