My dad messed up my order and they made me a new one for free.

I love this place with all my heart. A quintessential part of Stirling.

I grew up with this place, and through to a new generation they are continuing to make us proud.

We did not make the order through the call. We just waited for 5 mins and got out chicken nuggets package. Amazing chips. Hot and crispy. The size is also big enough for sharing.

Ordered our meal over the phone as per normal only to collect and feel the vibe was different the moment I walked in! Prices up 30%! So I asked new owners? ! Guess what new owners!

The manufactured chips are just awful. I mean really awful. To make things much worse is the fad now of cooking in canola or poly unsaturated oils. Not good and not healthy. Pure lard is the go. For flavour and health. Product is good as are the displays.

Best chicken shop in Stirling. New owners doing a great job! Phone orders are a must unless you want to enjoy the theatre of a really busy chicken shop.

We've been going here for years! What happened! They rushed the chips, not even crispy and lacking any chicken salt!

I can make them better

I have been a customer of the shop under the old owners for over 15 years. Always consistently good, tasty food and prompt service. Placed a phone order on the weekend and was told it would be ready in 25mins. Arrived there at the 30min point to a very full shop of waiting customers. Waited another 25mins. My order was quite simple.a chicken cut into 8, chips & gravy and 2 salads.
Whilst waiting, I noticed a teenage girl working there, painfully slow in packing orders, rolling her eyes when her boss gave her directions, a number of times, in full view of customers. Not a good vibe.

I know the owners are new and also appreciate that it takes a few months to get systems etc rolling smoothly, but the delay for such a simple order was disappointing. Also when I tried the chicken, it was dry and lacking in flavour. The stuffing was not good, crumbly, tasteless and dry.
To pay $19 for a chicken that was dry was disappointing, not to mention the loooong wait.

I'll give them another go in a few months and hopefully they will have improved.

We popped in for lunch while staying up in the Adelaide hills and were very happy with everything. The service was friendly, food was delicious, shop was extremely clean and the owner was lovely and definitely takes pride in his new shop. As someone who also has take away businesses we were so surprised that the prices were extremely cheap so we hope to see them put up the prices and stay in business during these difficult times.
We will definitely be back when we are in the area next time

New owners, still great food but please please please bring in more vegetarian options (previous owners had vegetarian lasagne etc).

Been coming here for years and have always done a phone order. Arrived to be told they didn’t have any a phone order for us even though we had called up 20 mins prior. So had to wait an extra 20 minutes so they could do our order all over again!
I know mistakes happen but disappointed with the new service.

The roast chickens are nice, and the chips consistently quite good. Unfortunately the chicken burgers are a big letdown because they are formed-meat patties, I assume brought in frozen. I expected better from a chicken shop.

Popped in for a quick snack of hot chips and a piece of fish. Not a busy day but still waited for 20+min. Food was fresh and good enough.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Most food otems I have had have been excellent. Has become my new local take away.

Awesome quality food, fairly priced, usually quite friendly unless there under the pump. That aside food is amazing SUPER EXCITED they have finally seen the light and changed to coke

We have been coming here for decades and both the service and quality has maintained at an excellent level!
Their hot chips are my favourite in SA and no matter how full I am, I’ll always have room for more!
