Sky Seafoods/Taste with Attitude

Sitting down on plastic chairs with a wobbly table in an industrial area, surrounded by others lined up to do the same.
The Seafood was excellent.
Can't think of a better way to eat a fresh Lobster.

Very busy. Managed to get a seat. Had a lobster and the seafood pack. Great experience to eat so fresh. Not the prettiest place but works.

Best fish batter ever! Ordered a casual piece of flake and expected it to be fresh. Is wash but I was blown away by the perfect, crispy batter that was used. Not stodgy or thick just thin and crispy that left the fish with a perfect balance of taste and texture. Gotta give this a try.

Drove to Robe on the way back to Melbourne intending to stock up on fish etc in the freezer to support local industry. Pretty shocked to see the prices were way over what I would expect to pay in my regular shop at home. Called them to double check and confirmed that Sky Seafoods are way over priced. Won't both again.

Staff very willing to help with cutting crayfish and answer any questions. Went on to Mt Gambier and called them to see if they had a supplier in Mt Gambier, for the cookies in a jar taste with attitude products that they also sell.
They said no but that they would have someone bring them to me at our hotel at no extra cost.
How amazing.thankyou Andrew.service like this is hard to come by. Your kindness is very much appreciated.
We will definitely come and see you when we are back in Robe for more fresh delicious crayfish and prawns.hopefully in January.

Yesterday bought prawns a snapper and a dozen oysters the lady gave us a package wrapped and when opened it contained 12 shells with material that could have been parts of oysters. Impossible to determine as they were so small and some were dry and a different colour. It is amazing what some businesses will do if they think you are an outsider and won't return but surprise surprise 1 of the 2 asian women has a house in Robe and was heading off to Melb. A good business treats every customer as a good friend.

Got the cooked lobster for a foreshore picnic. So tasty and fresh! Variety of sizes available to choose from. Will have to try the other seafood next time we are in Robe. Oysters looked pretty good.

Hands down the best lobster I've ever had! Some people may whine about the price but they can keep paying exorbitant prices for their farmed lobster lacking in any flavour. We bought a beauty for $80 for a picnic and I can honestly say it's the best lobster I've ever had - worth every penny! We drove alone long beach and enjoyed a picnic with ours. What an amazing experience! Added bonus, the lady who served us was so friendly and helpful!

Wonderful staff only too willing to help with selection of products. Best tasting lobster I've had in ages. Clean workplace. Great assortment of "sides" also. Highly recommend a visit.

Really fresh good quality. You do get the feeling its a hassle or you are an annoyance to the staff. Went in on Friday, service seemed to be a hassle and my wife called on saturday morning for a product we were told would be available only to be abruptly told "NO we aint got any". On saturday we got a different staff member over the counter who was lovely. If i was charging people national market rate for a local product im not shipping to asia i'd atleast be nice.
