50 What a great place great service
Took 11 members of the EasyRiders SMC Limestone Coast Chapter, all were happy with the food and surprised and none had been before.
Best value fisherman's basket at $20. Prawn, calamari, squid, flake fillet, scallop, with chips tartare and garlic aioli. Absolutely the freshest and tastiest.
Small serve seafood basket and oyster. Food is fresh but salty. Suggest to put salt on side. We were a little bit disappointed.
One of the best lobster places, I've been too, all different sizes and the fish and chips was so tasty and fresh
As being a past robe "local" I can say that Andrew and crew are great!
Whenever the wife and I stay in robe yearly we always try stop in to buy lunch and a few lobbys.
I must add to this review that I have read a few folks think the staff are rude, however I think everyone is different in this world and do have different personalities.
To which we must understand.
But if your being impatient and rude, well.you get what you give I guess.
Keep up the good work guys and see you soon!
P. S. Andrew I found the lake George mullet I called you about, Cheers for the tip!

Have never had a bad meal there. Lovely people. Simple unpretentious menu and dining areas.
Seafood was just delicious. We had a picnic on the beach and ordered crayfish, oysters and prawns. Quality and freshness 5. The lady behind the counter had some serious attitude and was quite rude. We were quite taken back with the rudeness. However we went in today to buy some more seafood and the young lady that served us was lovely and very friendly.
Don’t be fooled by the limited takeaway menu, that it’s part of a seafood wholesaler selling fresh seafood, that they have small portions, or that it’s off the beaten track. The only seafood in our takeaway that was fresh was the fish. The rest was cheap frozen battered seafood and the scallops were cold inside. Some of the worst takeaway I’ve ever eaten. So bad I was scared off buying any lobster or other fresh seafood to take home.
Seafood basket, and tasting plater of oysters, prawns and lobster? Was a very nice meal Thank we could have done with more and better serviettes, the ones we have were not good enough, the server we had had was good.
Dropped in for the taste of Robe a fresh cray and some prawns. Interesting to see the crays being prepared for market. Staff a bit rushed but did all we asked. Set up a table for two in the processing shed.
Couldn't recommend Sky Seafoods enough From the lovely ladies in the shop who showed us around and set up a table for us to have our freshly prepared platter. The freshest, most delicious oysters (fresh in as we were waiting), lovely prawns and the best part fresh lobster. Had a lovely chat to the bloke with the beard, who showed us how to get the most meat out of our lobster. You even got my husband eating natural oysters A must visit when in Robe Thanks guys
Good fish & chips. On a nice day you can sit outside. If I had to choose between having lobster at Sails restaurant and Sky Seafood, I'd choose Sky for better value.
We looked forward to having a lovely meal of lobster. Unfortunately it was tough and tasted bland. Most ended up in the bin. Would not bother buying cooked lobster again.
A seafood lovers paradise. Tasted oysters like you just dont get in Sydney.it was like eating the ocean I go right out of my way just to come here when I'm travelling through SA from Sydney. I stocked up on frozen seafood for my travels. The fattest juiciest scallops I've ever eaten made a decadent addition to my caravan korma curry. The lady was so friendly and lovely.but honestly she could have sworn at me and I'd still come back.
The older lady is most likely the worst human on earth, The way she spoke to myself and other customers was utterly appalling, She was no help and made my experience at this shop disgusting.
I cannot wait to get an abusive, rude reply to this review as per every other review on this page. Get Some staff training or boot the old duck that is clearly the issue.
I’m a frequent visitor to Robe and always call into Sky Seafoods. You can’t beat the delicious fresh seafood and friendly atmosphere.
Went there recently and my only regret is not buying more of their pickled octopus, onion jam and tomato relish to bring home… we’re already out!
I just cannot express how good the fish and chips here were. We had five pieces of fresh gummy and two serves of fish between the four of us and were stuffed. Hands down some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!
Great crayfish for dinner.so good we had to go back for fish and chips the next day!
Owner was very friendly and staff very helpful too.
Thankyou so much! Our platter was amazing! Thankyou for the friendly and very helpful staff. Our brunch by the sea with local wine was fantastic.
We didn’t get to taste any of the seafood.after waiting in the shop for over 5 minutes we went to put in our order of a couple of lobsters & a couple of kilo of prawns.the first thing we were asked without even a hello was “have you got a mask”! Which we replied no “do we need one”? The lady behind the counter said yes! Now that’s all good & well.but the guy that got served before us had no mask & wasn’t asked to put one on. We decided against buying anything & left. Taste with “attitude” but no consistency!
