SKARA Greek Street Food

Bit disappointed as we drove to Semaphore specifically to eat here.
The food we got was fine, the meat was good and they use authentic fluffy pita bread.
However there were a few things that didn't sit right.
Firstly they have a surcharge for using a credit card. I didn't realise this was still a thing.
Secondly one of the meals we got was a meat plate (basically an open yiros) for $19: 50 (plus surcharge) and it didn't come with tzatziki. So we had to buy a small tub of it separately for $4 (plus surcharge). The lettuce that came with also had to much balsamic reduction dressing making it very sweet.

Beautiful yiros bread and tasty lamb. But what's with all the hot chips hidden under the meagre serve of lamb? At $16-$19 per yiros? Sorry couldn't give a better review. Overpriced

The wait can get a bit much at busy times of the night but out of their hands, the food is well priced and always amazing

The team here are super friendly and they serve with a smile!
This only compliments the food as the food is incredible! Chips are tasty! Yiros are the best in the area! If you are looking for a good feed after a day down the beach, this is the place will definitely be back again!

Yummy, YUMMY food for my tummy! I loooooooooooooove YIROS its very nice. The moisture in this wrapped heavenly goodness turned my mouth into a waterfall!

Really enjoyed our lunch, staff were pleasant. Plenty of food, very generous servings. Lamb was delish. Calamari was nice and soft just a little bit greasy but orherwise very tasty.

Let me tell you a little story I walked into this place full of exhaustion from long hours at work it was bright and beautiful and the lady's were absolutely so welcoming and beautiful they said I looked tired I was. They said here's tea done go home and put your feet up. I nearly cried this was beautiful and not to mention the best yiros my partner and I have ever had thankyou lady's ️

Beautiful charcoal cooked yiros. I'll be back for more. The ones across the road are horrid compared to these. On par with Yiannis in hindley st

Flavoursome, tender and well portioned ABs. Wasn’t greasy. Loukanikos were juicy but the best thing was the HALLOUMI FRIES. SENSATIONAL

I haven't tried such FANTASTIC yiros anywhere in Adelaide! Meat is cooked to perfection, super tasty and juicy, the garlic sauce (tzatziki) is beyond mouth-watering, the pita bread tastes so good, it reminds me of Greece, I seriously cannot fault it! And staff is just super friendly! Seriously, the best authentic yiros I have had in a very long time and this is coming from someone who has moved to Australia from Greece. Bravo sas paidia! I keep coming back to your shop for more with my mate. You probably know who we are, writing this review! Get those haloumi fries ready for me next time I am there!

Fantastic yiros and good chips. The pork was really flavourful. The staff were all very friendly as well

Great coffee and delicious Muffin and lovely presented on a platter. Lovely staff and just down the road from the ocean.

Consistently amazing food and service, lovely atmosphere and great location. Beautiful spot in the evening as they have fairy lights and heaters, very cosy. Everyone we have brought here has been so impressed, definitely a favourite!

The Skara special yiros is my favourite and it is the best yiros I’ve ever had, hands down. Very filling and tastes incredible. Staff are always great too. 5 stars

Best place to get yiros and ABs! Other places I've tried aren't up to the quality here. Good portion sizes too and friendly staff.

Only giving 3 stars because of the cosiness of the place and the smells emanating from it. Ordered a tim tam milkshake. The girl who took the order didn't know how to make it and waited for one of the other staff to help. That staff member was just walking in from
serving customers outside. She then proceeded to break up the tim tams with her unwashed and no gloved hands. My daughter was given a thickshake instead of a milkshake. Did I mention the playing of their hair?

Two words - GREAT SERVICE!
the ladies were lovely, it was also a windy day and they nicely put the shields down and the heater on for us. The portions are the perfect size as well and the prices are cheap. Would 100% come here for breakfast again!
