Food was nor up to scratchchips were cold and the fish was dried out by freezer burn very undesirable place to eat

Ate lunch there today, great spot and such generous serves and so delicious! Outdoor seating was constantly full.

Don't waste your time the most expensive yiros in Adelaide and the meat gets reheated until it's brown and tastes bad. Go get a fresh one elsewhere where it's cooked fresh. Service is very arrogant like they have the best ha!

Decent Greek and Mexican food.

Food ranging from type of meat wrap, seafood platter and open platter (with meat, fried and bread).

However, I would prefer chicken instead of pork on my preference.

Pritty disappointed tbh. We ordered 9 chicken shazlicks they first only gave us 2 by mistake (which it happens) but they literally brought the other 7 out and you can tell its all pre cooked (not cooked when you order) they were all cold and chicken was so dry.

Surcharge for using credit card, which EVERYONE USES THESE DAYS Bank charges are WAY LOWER than years ago when most used CASH, So current day surcharges are a RIP OFF, just a money grab, didnt notice a sign advising of this charge? Food ok! 3 stars for food only

Have always had a good experience here until the last time. Asked for a chicken yiros minus tomato. Got a chicken yiros with cucumber and balsamic vinegar.
Asked if there had been a mistake the girl behind the counter interrupted me and told me I was wrong this was a "traditional" Greek yiros. Being born in Greece myself I asked her what part of Greece she was from that serves cucumber and balsamic in a yiros which she then went silent and the very nice lady came over to help me. She told me that I was given exactly what was on the board.
She was very nice I apologized and realized my mistake. As I started walking out I looked up and there was no mention of cucumber or balsamic. Just the real "traditional" ingredients on the board. (tomato, onion, tzatziki, chips, etc)
Sorry. I just want to be given what I asked for one chicken yiros from the board minus tomato.
The nice lady agreed when I showed her the board had no mention of the other rubbish that had no place in a yiros.
They agreed to make another 'yiros' with the first girl clearly unhappy at me and when I asked for lettuce they said they don't have lettuce only premixed Greek salad. Sigh. OK just plain chicken yiros. I still had hope we would get there.
Came out as an old chicken souvlaki that was cold.
Cmon guys. Took it back to the counter untouched and the nice lady told me they don't do chicken yiros there as chicken is only souvlaki on a stick.
As I could see the big rack of chicken yiros turning behind her I could finally see that I was not welcome there.
My party of five all enjoyed there yiros platters but I made the mistake clearly of expecting a chicken yiros as advertised on the board.
Sorry guys. You lost me.

We visited Adelaide for a birthday long weekend. We stumbled on the restaurant and by far their street Greek food is on par with the best in Melbourne. Loved it so much we went back the following night for dinner. Calamari - perfection ‍

Had dinner with my wife and daughter, and the food was absolutely delicious. Had the open plate ×2 and a calamari plate.highly recommend Skara and we will be back.

Not sure if this venue has changed hands but the food we had there today was not its usual standard. The yiros had no lettuce, the bread was very chewy, overall very bland.
Disappointing

Bad customer service, and wayyyy to much lettuce in the yiros, falls apart in your hands. Its a yiros not a salad.

This place is top notch! We’ve been eating here for a year and love their gyros so much! We decided last night to get their big dinner for two platter, it was awesome! $75 for tons of meat, salad and chips, really yummy and took a box home. Love this place!

Absolutely beautiful food, eat outside or do take away, be prepared to wait a short while, that's how good a food they do.

Great place for awesome Greek food and deserts has shaded area and great sea breeze a must to come and try.

Perfect all year round great food outside eating space a really good place for a quick bite or a catch up with mates well priced for semaphore

Came here New Years Day for a little open plate. Absolutely delicious, so much food we could barely finish it. Seriously the best salad with all that dill mixed in! We come here as a treat every now and then because it is very pricey but it is worth it the times that we do come.

Pork yiros is top notch. Quality meat and nice thick garlic sauce that isn’t watery like most. Up there with the best.

We got takeaway from this place last night, and while it wasn't the absolute best Greek food that I've ever had, it was undoubtably up there. The portions were about the right size and the food- especially the calamari from the open plate was very good. If I were back in the area, and looking for food at a similar time, I'd probably come back again!
