Sicily Pizzeria e Bar

I booked in for a birthday dinner with 14 friends and was pretty disappointed with the service and communication. We ordered drinks while waiting for the rest of the group then a couple of platters arrived I assumed someone on the table ordered while we waited and the rest of us continued to look at the menu before everyone had arrived some pizzas started coming out. I was very confused and said it must have been a mistake as we had not ordered yet to which I was told they were for the table and the waitress walked away after a while I went to the waitress very confused and she said there was a set feed me menu for the group as we were large I was very dissapointed that nobody told me when we booked or even when we arrived. They just brought out food with no communication I expressed this to the waitress who just said it was standard no apology or explanation about how the food would work. Not very happy with this as we weren’t told this was the only option, what food was coming or how much it would cost each person while the food was good service was very disappointing also after reviewing the receipt I was charged a $12 surcharge with no explanation and it wasn’t a public holiday or Sunday.

We had pizza for dinner in this Italian restaurant and we left satisfied.
We ate a pizza with salami that had a strong taste but good, then a prosciutto with white base.
You can’t see from the picture but in the centre, under the prosciutto, it was a bit burnt; this because I asked it without tomato sauce and you should add more cheese to avoid the pizza to burn. But besides that, all the ingredients were good and I love when it’s used fiordilatte cheese instead of mozzarella, because it tastes even better.
Staff was also polite.

Pizza was fabulous, service was quick and friendly, it was clean. We would be happy to go back.

The food was delicious. The service was great too. It was easy to organise a table for a good sized group.

We had a minor issue with the seating arrangement as a few of the people had the sun straight in their face. The staff ended up setting us up in another part of the building.

We came in yesterday, and we ordered 1 chinotto and 1 beer, the lady forgot the beer. We then ordered two Pizzas and the same lady forgot 1 of them.

The food was good, but the service was not.

This was our second visit in 12 months. Delicious wood oven pizza, you must try the mozzarella ball for starter! The staff were friendly and attentional, service was prompt.

Had a delicious lunch on Sunday. Pizzas are delicious. Just remember there's a surcharge of 10% on Sundays. Friendly polite service.

Five of us enjoyed our delicious foods there (pizza, pasta and arrustuta). Just be careful when paying, you'd better check the bill yourself before paying

Not as warm service wise as sister restaurant Italy. Aperol and pizza were good.

Management: splurge on Spotify premium (ads are so annoying & downmarket). Train your staff on how to wear face masks properly (I appreciate that they’re annoying).

Great place. Menu is not convoluted, they know what they're doing and do it well. Good service and proper import beers to go with the Italian food. Well worth a nudge if you're in the area. I'll be back again.

Spent my dinner here last night. Happy they found a spot for us even if without a booking, unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with customer service and with food quality. The guys surely heard we were Italian as they are, not friendly at all. Once at the till we asked for the bill and they just left the paper on the counter not even saying a word or how much the total was; I have been working in the industry and I would not have treated someone that way. When about to leave, after paying, they asked if the pizza was ok, but we were already leaving and the issue wasn’t much with the GF one but with the whole lot and the service itself really.
I guess such a night would ruin even the best pizza ever.
Hopefully the staff is going to do some improvements with all the customers.

The service was quick and friendly.

We have ordered margarita pizza, murinciani, arancina and lasagna for kids.

Pizza was so delicious and authentic.

Murinciani was flavorful, arancina was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Kids really enjoyed the lasagna.

Food is average at inflated prices, noisy dining area, noisy kitchen. Service was good but prices were well above what you got. I have heated up coles pasta and enjoyed it more. Sorry. Fell short for our group.

Great company followed by fantastic food. The three meat Lasange is to die for. Others enjoyed the Festa 1. Fabulous Espresso martini.

Disappointed in tonight's dining experience. Served cold pizza with chunks of unmelted cheese. Very poor service, ignored by waitress and had to ask repeatedly for cutlery and plates. Not worth the $$$

We have been to Sicily a few times now, and have really enjoyed it every time.

The most recent time we went we got the $35 feed me menu. The food all came out quite quickly, and was very delicious.

When the food came out, two of the pizzas were the same, and we asked if we could have one of them changed to a different pizza (we were not able to select the pizzas prior) and the staff were happy to change it over with no fuss and were very cooperative.

Very friendly staff and great food.

It did make it difficult that you couldn't do split/separate bills, however the food and service makes up for this small inconvenience.

So, you wait 20 mins. No one in the place and ask for a table not at the door. Comes back and offers table a door.
