One of my old time favourites. I've been going to Skiki's for over 30 years and they never fail me not even once. Top end teppanyaki. If your wanting to impress, for a special occasion or just looking for top level food and service then this place is for you. Highly recommend

Visited this gem on my birthday! Best dining experience of my life! Loved everything presented to us. We opted for Keyaki menu with wine pairing. It was magnificent! You can inherently classify the place as outstanding if it offers high quality and fresh ingredients. When every dish is made in front of your eyes, you can judge the hot food served by an amazing chef instantly, and this place lived upto its expectations. Am glad I went here, this place deserves the hype it has for the radiant Teppanyaki experience.

Place was “ok” but not worth the hype in any way and certainly not worth the price. Deep fried whiting, chewy lobster and scallops, the experience was mediocre and not worth the price at all. For a better experience go to Tomiko at Glenelg, the food is significantly better.

Staff were friendly but he chef continuously ignored the dietary requirements of someone at our table and had to remake food multiple times.

The sashimi and dessert were the best parts, which is ironic as neither were Tepinyaki, the worst food of the night was the food prepared in front of our eyes. Which is what happens when you hire 20 chefs working independent of each other, you just can’t guarantee that all of them will be up to standard

Shiki's is one of our favourite restaurants and you have never failed us. I have been going to Shiki's since I was 21 years old. I just celebrated my 50th with you on 16/10/2021. Thank you also for doing gluten free options for one of my guests. We Highly Recommend Shiki's to anyone and we will defiantly be seeing you again soon! Kind regards Darren & Thea

The meal and paired wine menu was great and we really enjoyed it. The paired wine was 3 great glasses of wine and was $55 a head. I requested another one glass of wine and told that it would be extra but they didn't tell me how much it would be they charged $50 for 1 glass. I felt that this was unbelievable and I had been taken advantage of. It left a very unpleasant end to the evening.

Excellent food and faultless service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Chefs prepared our meals before us providing entertainment and a lesson in fine cookery. Although a little pricey, for a fine dining experience, it's worth it.

The restaurant is located in top floor of InterContinental Hotel in Adelaide CBD. The reception was very nice and the service was so professional and quick. There are several set menus and you can easily choose from them. Various combinations of meat, seafood and veggies. The meal started with beautiful and tasty selection of sashimi which was one of the best sashimis i have had so far. Prawn tempura was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, crunchy outside and very juicy. Next corse was fresh lobster. It was tasty and sweat but could be done a touch less cooked. The beef filet was suppose to be rare but it was more on the medium side. The beef quality was ok but not perfect. It was a bit too lean and no fat marbling so not very flavoursome but tender. The fried rice, miso soup and desert were very nice. The most fun part is the cooking is happening right before your eyes and it is table side. The place is very good for people in 5 to 10 and it is fun watching the chefs cooking and serving food. Definitely a good restaurant to visit and experience the fun.

As far as I am concerned, keeping in mind that I have tried every high end restaurant in Australia, this is the best food on the planet. For some silly reason if you don’t agree, obviously you never go to high end restaurants so just go and have your pub meal with a beer like a Aussie, don’t forget your fries and mushroom sauce.

For our first time experiencing teppanyaki cooking, this was the perfect anniversary dinner. The food was bordering on divine. The service was outstanding. As the couple next to us remarked, "it is theater, it is art, in the form of dinner". Highly recommended, and we'll be back

Food was basically flavoured with soy sauce and butter. Almost all the dishes were cooked like this. The chef didn’t entertain us apart from the blazing fire. Also weird how the rice comes last and the order of cooking the meat and seafood were just scattered. Some people go their seafood first, some got theirs at thesame time. Also Most teppan places we’ve been cooks the rice first.

They were nice but the young waitress that served us was a bit rude. While you’re busy talking she interrupts without excusing herself. She was loud and honestly disruptive.

Although service overall is ok, I think this is overrated and the food is not worth the price. Intercontinental food overall in Gold Coast and Adelaide is sadly quite disappointing: (

Food was great, chef was great.we got the $145 Keyaki set menu. Ingredients were definitely fresh, but not high quality as you would expect for a restaurant of their calibre. The texture of the sashimi and wagyu were not as “melt-in-the-mouth” as I’d hoped. Service was rather abrupt at times and not what one would expect in fine dining.

When we left, we asked for an itemised receipt (to obviously split the bill because there were 5 of us), to which our waiter asked “why”, and when my friend took a photo of it, she said, “oh to flex? ”.

Can’t say we will be back in a hurry.

My spouse and I finally experienced Shiki on the weekend and wow, what a dinner. We opted for the Keyaki menu. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The barramundi was the standout and the best we’ve ever eaten! Watching the chefs work their magic on the teppanyaki was mesmerising. The dessert was a little so-so but we were so full by this point we didn’t really mind!

Marrakech is a fabulous restaurant, I loved the atmosphere, the service was excellent and the food delicious whilst also providing value for money. We ordered too much and despite out best efforts, barely put a dent in the dishes. Fortunately, I could take the leftovers home which was fabulous as I could share the delicious food with my husband. He was suitably impressed and subsequently booked a work luncheon for his colleagues.

Incredible food that is prepared skillfully and in such a way that it's always an experience and a half watching it happen before you. Have been here every year for the last 3 years and we will keep coming! Polite and very helpful staff, delicious food, and wonderful service. Thank you, Shiki!

As one of the higher rating teppanyaki restaurants in Adelaide, I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. I was fairly disappointed with the experience as the steak was over cooked, dry and lacking flavour. The spectacle and fanfare of the flaming teppanyaki grill was there but apart from impressive flames there wasn’t much else to write about. I suppose I’ve been spoilt with teppanyaki experiences in Kobe, Osaka and Tokyo so my expectations may have been a bit too high. Although for the price paid, definitely feels like it should have been a lot tastier
