Shiki Japanese Restaurant reviews
49 Very accommodating for dietary restrictions. But felt a little rushed on set menu with wine pairings. Given the portion sizes, easy to get very drunk very quickly. Might go al a carte next time and pace myself.
Thanks Ben for teaching us how to impress guests at a BBQ. ^^
An amazing evening with the most divine food and great wine pairings. Thank you so much to Bun Tan for the fantastic culinary experience and to Naomi for looking after our table and making sure we always had something to drink. Will definitely return
Fantastic service by our waitress Vanessa and the food and company at our table was excellent! Will be back again.
Our experience & the food was outstanding! The chef was amazing, he was super friendly, funny, entertaining and cooked everything to perfect. We will be back!
Came here to celebrate a special birthday and were not disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere were all fabulous. Highly recommend
Me and my partner had dinner tonight and we both had diarrhea and vomited multiple times after.
We had a excellent Teppanyaki experience in Shiki Adelaide. Wow! No more words for the food, specially grill menu. Special thanks for Jacob who did an amazing service for our 1st Anniversary.
Highly recommend for Authentic Teppanyaki experience in Adelaide.
Thanks heaps Shiki for the memorable day.
Lok & our chef Bun were both amazing and accommodating and I could not recommend them both more. Lok was super professional and lovely to liase with and Bun is an amazing chef to capture in action. Thank you so much for allowing me to come in and photographing your chefs and enjoy your delicious food!
Food was ok and filling, certainly did not walked away feeling hungry.
For an upmarket place, we were surprised wooden breakable chopsticks were given to use. But it did the job.
Steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and they taste nice.
Chef was entertaining creating flames and quick slices of egg roll across the hotplate.
Service from waitering staff was good.
Great choice of food. Good service. Lovely atmosphere. Chefs on the grill are fantastic they can cook and have a sense of humour. Was a wonderful night. Bit pricey but we'll worth it. Thank you.
Brilliant food - one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had. The staff were phenomenal. Both the chef and waiting staff went above and beyond to enhance the experience of their customers. Definitely going back!
The best! You pay but it's worth every cent. The quality the service, atmosphere are second to none lvl 9 wagu is UNBELIEVABLE. Booking ahead is a must and a pro tip when booking in notes ask to be seated in front of chef not on side.you're welcome
We went to this place for the famous Wagyu beef grill show. Worth the price, amazing show with tender taste of the wagyu.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! If you are a fan of fresh Japanese food you wouldn't regret spending all your money here! It's worth the money! Yumm
Amazing experience, amazing food, great service and the miso soup is very good. Really recommend it
Fancy japanese restaurant with the novelty of teppanyanki dishes made right in front of you. The food was good quality and the service was 5 stars. However, the food itself is not worth the price. I would recommend to try one time but there are other japanese places where you get better bang for your buck.
Pictured: Keyaki menu (entree: sahimi, main: lobster tail, scallops, wagyu striploin, dessert: raspberry mousse with lycee jelly)
Attentive service with a great menu using high-quality produce and a wide selection of wines and other beverages available. Room is tired and dated and showing it’s age. Competent Teppanyaki Chef’s but lacking showmanship typically associated with Hibachi grills. Be prepared for a long hike from local self parking unless you valet park at the Intercontinental hotel.
My favourite Japanese restaurant. The chefs and waiters are always so friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful food, brilliant chef, and friendly accommodating staff. Well worth the money, and we will be back! The lobster was suculant and fresh, the wagyu beef was perfect, and the desert was to die for, add the theatre and fire, and you have a fantastic night out
