Always plenty of people to talk to here, parking is often difficult during summer but overall the whole area is in great condition
Australia Day celebrations with fireworks at 930pm was a very lovely day out. There were thousands of people present. Awesome atmosphere. Parking was difficult. If you are expecting to go next year try to arrive around 6pm. The lawn areas were very well maintained. We will be going next year. Family fun for everyone.
What's not to like?
There are rides for the kids and the big kids. Go karts come to mind. Mini golf is always popular as is the waterslide during summer. There is a miniature steam train ready to take you for a ride next to the kiosk that has some of the best food around at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff.
I like this beach because its great to go running or walking since its less crowded and you can always get a park. It can get a bit dodgy in the evenings though, and it isnt near anything or readily accessible by public transport.
Great beach and place to take your kids and dogs. Plenty of parking spaces. Great food and attractions, like rides and games etc.
