Great beach. Plenty of food shops. Lot of shops just to browse. Great pubs. Federal my favourite. Has live music often. Also support the RSL and have a drink and meal there.

Lovely park and pier. Shops very close by. Small fun park. Plenty of easy walking along the waterfront.

It's a very quiet beach with a jetty, with no waves, and very shallow waters. Great for kids but with tons of dried seaweed and others on the beach.
White sand. No shops with water views nearby though.

Family friendly beach with huge number of take away and dining options. Plenty of car parks, they do get taken up quickly. But, if you're patient enough, you're sure to find it.

Love going down to semaphore to relax. Always good to go on a day not too cloudy or windy. When the weather is good it's a perfect place to just chill on the beach or have a nice swim in the ocean. Truely are blessed to have such beautiful beaches.

The grasses area along foreshore is a lovely picnic spot. Toilets and tables dotted along from semaphore jetty and heading south

Absoloutely gorgeous place. You can go for a stroll down the beach, walk up the jetty, go and get some lunch or dinner nearby. Great through the holidays for the whole family as they have a bunch of show rides and games. Always a great vibe and so many people out and about enjoying themselves any day. Easy access parking available and public bathrooms close by too.

Love this beach and the atmosphere. Born a local and no matter where I roam, my heart is here. I'll remain faithfully a western girl. I'm a huge fan of this beach and the surrounding area, people are friendly and it always has a focus on all community members. So the walkers are catered for, the bike riders, dog walkers, beach goers, weekend visitors, weekly nomad visitors, coffee shop and pub connoisseurs. Not to mention the ever changing traders in the main streets in and around semaphore.

A great part of the world, plenty of carparking (free) public amenities and bbqs,

Aswell as a shared walking path with a variety of fixed gym equipment along it.

Dogs permitted but must be on a leash at specified times (if you do take your dog please keep our beach and foreshore clean by removing its waste:)

In all my years visiting here its still such a great place to watch the sunset with bag of fish and chips from sohos in the main jetty rd to die for their food

Beach days for days! Escape the Metro concrete jungle and find a spot on the sands at Semaphore! The crowds usually are more South - so I suggest head to the beaches North and frolick there!

I like this place very much, mainly because of the long pier and one of the longest i have seen around. Great!

Great place for everyone with a choice of hanging out on the grass, sheltered tables and bbqs or beach. Lots of activities for the kiddos (that are pretty reasonably priced) with mini golf, waterslides, carousel, train rides and a great fenced large playground. Go for a walk along the jetty or have a drink at the family friendly hotel while watching the sunset.

A great relaxing day out for young and old!
