73 Was really looking forward to our evening here but left disappointed.
Started out fine with chatty staff but went downhill very quickly. Drinks taking a solid 20 minutes to come out, having the Study of Beef but nothing explained in terms of sauces that were accompanied or which steak was which, then having plates left on the table for 30 minutes to then be told we couldn't order dessert as our table was booked for another party (when there were multiple empty tables around us). The food was good but the whole evening left a bad taste in our mouth especially spending a $300+ for just 2 people.
Disappointing if you are expecting Italian gnocchi well think twice each gnocchi almost 10cm long in melted butter that had no taste more mushrooms than gnocchi it’s all fancy without the flavour. Staff seemed too busy had to call them over every time to take our orders. The ambiance took the spotlight!
Absolute delicious again. Made us feel special. Up nice and close to the chef John. And hostess Ciara was delightfull.
Again returned. Chef John no longer there. But all staff were amazing and attentive and friendly.
Food could not be faulted.
Was able to get a table at short notice. Both the food and service were really impressive. Enjoyed a Prohibition gin to start. Food arrived quickly and was perfectly cooked. We had the striploin sreak and Murray Cod with broccolini and parmesan slaw as sides. Delicious food. We will be back.
Very disappointing. For a fine dining restaurant I understand you pay a premium for the service, but we left very disappointed.
Broken glass on our table when we sat down, the staff forgot to put through 3 main course meals so we had to wait an extra 20 minutes and then the bathrooms had no running water.
As we left, we mentioned this to the staff and were given a discount and apology, but we had to comment before any action. Very disappointing and will not be going back.
Genuinley stunning food. Amazing produce, the staff were very knowledable and freindly. Overall an exceptional dining experience!
Tried to book for a group but unfortunately we were refused service because some of us had not taken part in a medical experiment. This is unacceptable and discriminatory
The seafood platter not worth the price of 125 dollars, the most amazing part of the reply from the chef insist that the prawns was fresh, whats the point of our opinion then?
Thanku Sean’s Kitchen for our wonderful night at your restaurant Saturday the 5th of March celebrating our Daughters 21st. Service, meals, atmosphere was absolutely splendid. As a chef myself of 28years the meals were perfect. Must say your choice of sides are all beautiful, let alone the seafood platter! Yum. Can’t wait to return. *****
I went there with 6 mates, paid tip dollar and we were squeezed on a table that was for a maximum of 4 people. Very unpleasant experience. I had a risotto and to be honest I couldn’t even taste any wine in it. Plus it was very small like an entree instead of a main meal. I don’t mind paying premium price but I expect premium food and a premium experience.
Nice atmosphere, dissapointing food and over priced for what it is. Got duck fat chips and they tasted very bland, my partner got chicken and greenbeans.
The greenbeans were undercooked & the chicken was overcooked
The most amazing steak I have had the pleasure to eat. It was $100 which is a however trust me worth every single dollar. Totally coming back thanks
Ambiance and Vibe was shocking on arrival. Music from the casino was playing in the restaurant. Was so depressing. Suicidal almost.
Then there was the service.
Was seated and the gentleman who came after was served his whole meal before we even received a glass of wine.
We weren't payed any attention to until we said something. Then food came generally quickly. After that the wine flowed and the evening flowed better.
However the lamb shoulder was dry.
Pate meh.
I wouldn't rush back in a hurry.
Tasty foods. Nice clean open kitchen. Thanks for our waitress, she was so amazing to save our special night. Very polite and professional. However, other wait staffs seem not pay attention on floor. Hard to get eye contact with them.
The table wasn’t fully booked.when I asked to change the table, there were plenty tables not seated and it was empty until
8pm. Disappointed about the service and the food. I’d rather spend the same money at the fine-dinning. They use water bottle as a decanter…. Poor quality……

Amazing attentive service. It was our anniversary and every staff member wished us well and even wrote it on our dessert platea. Entree was amazing, main was great also and awesome cocktails! Will definitely be back.
I attended the restaurant last night and was first greeted in an unwelcoming manner. I felt judgment from the waiter through the conversation which made me and my family feel uneasy. The service was also lagging and the $72 Cape Grim Rib eye I ordered was well done and NOT medium rare as I wanted it. I didn’t want to start a scene as my family was with me so I just ate it. I had high expectations from the online reviews but was sorely disappointed in all aspects. I should have left the restaurant happy but that wasn’t the case.
Located next to the Adelaide Casino it’s the ideal place to start your special night out, great food and service is excellent.
Love the ambiance. Food was tasty and delicious. Seafood platter was filled with fresh seafood. Steak was really great.lamb shoulder is one of best.meat was too tender and juicy. Love it. Good portion for sharing.
