Disappointing! It’s our first time to visit this place for our last dinner during our holiday in Adelaide.
I was seated in a spot facing the kitchen—our oyster order was sitting on the counter for more than 15mins. I saw how the other oysters were sent to the other tables within 5mins. Not until a staff noticed me looking around then she approached us saying that the other entree ordered will be coming soon and so we have to request that the oysters can be delivered to our table now. That’s when she agreed and took the oysters to our table. King prawns came in 5mins after. That means if we didn’t ask for the other order to be sent then the oysters would have been in the counter for 20mins! And yeah, how could we ask a staff—every staff on the floor is moving so quick and don’t even look at other tables.
Seafood linguini was nice but temperature was a bit less cool.
Steak (porterhouse) wasn’t cooked properly according to how it was supposed to be I suppose coz about 2 hours after we left my partner started vomiting. What came out of his mouth? The steak. He knows good steak and knows what/how to order such. Good thing we were in the hotel already and no other gastro-like symptoms came up.
Paying 251$ for a meal is not a problem if quality service is provided with it.
We were charged x2 for the still water which in total is 16$—he had a glass of water and I had 2. Glass. Not a bottle. Is Purezza still water that expensive? I also work in a sector where feedback is important and highly sought. As a costumer I would normally provide on the spot feedback if things are not doing great when I go to places but it was an exhausting day and we were looking forward to a great dinner but turned out to be a disappointing one—couldn’t spend my remaining energy for a complaint.

Worst dining experience ever. The older waiter questioned my lady friend who is in her 30s if she is the mother of other 2 ladies who were also in their 30s, which made her very upset. There was no service, we paid $8 per head for water, only topped up the glass at the beginning once.when we tried to get some attention for some service, the waiter that saw us pointed at the other waiter, for us to speak to the other waiter for service. I can understand if they all have their own section to serve, but this made us feel like they treat customers like animals.one of the waiters pushed our friend's chair in without even asking while she was sitting on it, they told her she have to move in towards to the table, but our guests on the other side of table already had their seats back against the window. If they had just asked us nicely, we would have moved. After we paid, we waited at the door to try and have a chat with manager to let them know about our bad dining experience. The manager? (the one dressed formally without appron) holding a tablet just ignored us and keept talking to one of the waiters, and avoided eye contact with us for 5 minutes.

Hi Domenica frisina I came in with my daughter Francesca frisina on Saturday on 10 November at 945 pm did booking same night got us in straight service was fantastic food was fantastic atmosphere was fantastic high quality service and food highly recommended this place anyone love going to city want let hair down have good time see places go to yes deal people who got high allergies like do and daughter gluten free dairy free vegan vegetarian and Celia

Had our anniversary dinner here last Saturday night. It was just the perfect place with exceptional service and mouth watering food. Highly recommend for the service alone. You feel completely looked after and special, including the extra special touches

We all ordered different dishes and couldn't fault the food. A big shout out to our waitress, she was exceptional.

I ordered the dessert wine by glass, asked waitress many times, it didn't come when I finished my meal and then they told me it's not available. When I got the bill, I have been charged the coke that I haven't ordered, it's been cancelled but this is really bad experience.

Excellent Restaurant and place to be.
Outstanding and kind service crew, very good drinks especially local wine.
Have to go there when staying in Adelaide.

WOW.
First time at this funky, upmarket restaurant.
Bday dinner.
Had a blast. Staff unbelievable, knew everything about the menu, an all cocktails.
Place was booked out but they squeezed us in at the bar.
Thank you soooooo much.
Food FANTASTIC
Compliments to the chefs.
A big AAA rating to the bar staff. You really know your jobs well. Great asset to this establishment.
Highly recommend to all.
Will definitely be back.

We have been to Sean’s Kitchen many times and every time we love the whole experience. Service always excellent and staff helpful friendly and professional. Food is absolutely amazing and excellent menu to choose from. WillKeep coming back

Very disappointed with the seafood platter, seriously not worth $150 for what you get. Chips overcooked. Crab pasta however was amazing and service was quick.

Hands down worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Group booking of 14 with guests from all over Australia attending.

Upon arrival we we asked about dietary requirements. These had already been provided when booking the dinner, as one person of our 14 had particular requirements (nothing outrageous just no chilli)

Without taking a drink order the waiter left for half an hour to “discuss this with the chef” no waiter was sent to get some drinks going while we waited.

We were in a private room with 14 guests at $95 a head for food. One of the dishes was Rock Ling. Between 14 people we were given 4 pieces of fish each roughly the size of a playing card and when we requested a little more so every one could have some we were given an alternative, as they had “run out”. It was a Friday night and honestly this simply was not good enough, the alternative was pretty average and not even a salt water fish.

Waiter left the room and table several times for upwards of half an hour at a time, with no drinks on table. None of the guests complained however several times we were required to go looking for the waiter to even order a drink.

No coffee was offered at the close of the meal and upwards of 30 minutes to even get the account.

Overall this was simply garbage service and just not good enough given what was being paid.

A $2500 account could easily have been $3500 plus tip with some service and a little effort.

Will not be eating or recommending this place again.

Absolutely stunning meal. Now, I definately wish we lived in Adelaide. Sean, please open a restaurant in Hamilton, NZ (oh and can you bring all of your staff too?).

Average experience, venue definitely overpriced for what you get. Cocktails and drinks were nice, ordered medium rare steak instead got charcoal black well done, had to bring that up to staff as a result a proper new steak was offered. Dinner was ok but definitely there are better places around for the money you pay and experience you get.

Nice setting. Some great food.

However, we left sour and unhappy after having our anniversary lunch with kids as,
- waiter being push to my hubby to 'order more food', and 'to spend money'.
- more interested in prsonal matters like, what we do for living instead of asking ' what drink my kids would like, or how would they like their steak done which all came out overcooked.
- keep guessing wrong nationalities based on my hubby's accent ended up very awkward in the end. Frenchman wanted to leave early if it wasn't for the occasion.

In overall, althought kids menu were below average, our food was good.but we didn't enjoy dinning here at all due to waiter's approach and attitude, won't come back.

I had the Scotch Fillet steak, with Duck fat chips, popcorn cauliflower and some Mac n cheese.
Literally ALL of it was delicious and slid down very nicely with a good bottle of red.

Seafood isn't my thing so I can't review the surf side of things but I totally enjoyed the turf side.
Sean has done Almondbury and his grandma proud. Will definitely go again.

Lovely service and food was delicious. The Mac and Cheese was definitely a guest favourite on our table Haha. The mushroom dish was amazing as well. Staff was great and food came out fast! Would love to come back again ️
