I have been coming here for years for the absolutely delicious and generous food!
The owners and staff are so lovely and welcoming.
Restaurant is also beautiful, with pleasant ambiance.
I will continue visiting Rumi Palace

Amazingly good! So delicious. I love the ashak dumplings, the borani banjan and the veggie palaw. The quality is consistent, the service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Come here 2 times per month for 8 years, and in the last few months, I have had bad rude service by the new lady who served us. We might be old and fragile, but our mind works works perfectly fine, and so is our hearing. Never again to be here to be mistreated.

More than a worthy alternative to the other Afghan place in the west. The eggplant is a must have, double up cuz one is never enough. Skip the naan which is not made in house anyway, go for rice.

Tasty food and super hospitality. Price is bit on the higher side but the place has good sitting capacity as well and with parking.

Best shop in Adelaide, deserves a lot more respect. Very kind workers and hardworking. Definitely will go again

Food is exceptionally tasty. I've visited this place few times and have tried many items in the menu with my family. We live quite far yet we don't mind driving 45 minutes just to taste their delightful meals. Excellent service. Perhaps add more authetic arabic/afghan food items in the menu especially appetisers, desserts and drinks.

This is the second time we are here. Love all the food we ordered. So tasty! The lamb shank is so tender, practically slides off the bones. Portion is reasonable, definitely enough to fill our tummy. We celebrated our friend's birthday there. They help to store our cake and provide plates and cutlery for a small price. Friendly and polite service.

Amazing. Everything served was beyond expectation! The dumplings were yummy, I had the saffron chicken which was absolutely delicious and my partner had the lamb stew which was also brilliant.
Serving sizes were huge and the rice was the fluffiest I've ever had in my life. Presentation of all the dishes were outstanding.
Can't wait to go back again already! (Keen to go back with a large group of people so I can try even more dishes!)

One of best meals I’ve ever eaten. The eggplant was unbelievable and a standout. If you like North Indian or Pakistani food this place will 100% rival any of your top dining experiences.

We were recommended by friends to visit Rumi Palace as they claimed it is one of the best Afghan restaurants in Adelaide.

From our visit, the entire dining experience was just brilliant! The restaurant has incredible cultural art maintaining the integrity of the culture. The staff welcomed us with a smile and a very warm welcome. The staff continuously checked with us to help and helped with explaining what some of the dishes were. The restaurant had nice traditional music in background during service.

We ordered the Ghabli Uzbeki (lamb shoulder with rice) and the kebab koobideh (skewers) but requested the kebabs be mixed rather than both lamb. The food was cooked and served in a timely manner and the presentation of the dishes was manicured and visually appealing. The colours of the dishes that the food was sevred on were extremely vivid! The food and the plates used provided a beautiful presentation of the culture and traditions.

The flavours were just amazing! The meat on the lamb shoulder was extremely juicy and pulled apart easily. The lamb and chicken kebabs were tender and rich in flavour with balanced amount of spices. The rice in both dishes was perfectly cooked and had beautiful colors, and great taste with raisins. Lastly, the bread was served warm and was extremely fluffy!

After countless orders via uber eats THIS is the only restaurant I was motivated to leave a review for - The food was just unbelievably good - excellent flavours, great balance and good portions. Thank you for really great food. I look forward to eating at the restaurant soon

Super friendly staff. Large dishes loaded with flavour especially the dumplings which were very different to the Chinese and Japanese style I'm used to.

Food was fantastic, the chicken kebabs could do with a bit more seasoning but really I'm just nitpicking. Beautiful fluffy rice and flavourful biryani. Customer service could use a little work as they tried seating us right next to another table when the restaurant was literally empty. They rectified this after I mentioned it. Would certainly return.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Have tried a number of the dishes on the menu and loved them all. Tonight I had the raindow trout dish and WOW. WOW. Well done Rumi - you did not disappoint.

Food is very nice here & bookings might be required as it gets busy fast. Banquet is the way to try a wide choice of different foods.

Super falovorful rice I had in my life. I eat rice at least 2 times a day for believe me it's a massive compliment. Beautifully cooked Biriyani and kebabs fantastic. Dumplings were the best I ever had it was soo good.

Need improvement,
1. Service is good but can improve just by asking if they can get something else. After giving food they just abandoned.

2. Fish is not recommended here it was double Fried in different times with old oil. It was dripping oil and absolutely disgusting.

Nice restaurant to visit, went & ordered the entree & mains, fried Dumpling for entree & mixed kebabs for myself & chicken kebab was really nice tasting food, not too spicy, the meat was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was presented impeccably. Overall pretty cheap for the amount of food you are given and the quality of the food.

The food is beautiful at Rumi Palace.
Vegan Persian Noodle soup is out of this world.
Lamb Shank Afghan Style was incredible.
A must try us the green tea - they add a little twist which accompanied the meals beautifully.

We'll definitely go back. We can't wait.
