Great atmosphere friendly helpful staff amazing food and a very impressive wine list to compliment menu

Went here for a staff dinner and thoroughly enjoy our meal and even went home with some leftovers!

Really rude waitress. I had a bottle of sparkling that was clearly off, and though I outrank her by an extra 20 years and I only ever drink sparklings, she chose to think that I requested something different because I 'just didn't like it', which was not the case. I clearly told her it was off, and did my best to make the point that I'm very well acquainted with sparkling wines in general. She made it very obvious she thought I was lying (as if I would bother!) If I ever order a sparkling that I 'don't like', I will make ZERO complaint and simply never ask for it again. In this circumstance however, she refused to entertain the idea that I know my wines and that I definitely could tell that it was off. Rude, unprofessional and passive-aggressively contrary. I can't remember ever being so offended by the behaviour of a waitress. Such a shame because the place otherwise seemed nice.

Disappointed in the food. Quality of food and service in general left me not impressed considering the price point.

I had heard wonderful things about RRF but didn't experience any of them. We had booked a large group for 8pm and were ushered into a room that didn't fit us all. It was close to 9pm when the grumpy staff took us to our table. The food was average. The staff were angry, under pressure and taking it out on us. We had ordered and pre-paid desert but the staff didn't want to serve it. When we insisted, I had to take a fork from another table - one of the staff noticed and, instead of offering a spoon, told me that she had put them at the other end of the table and walked off. I waited 1/2hr for a mineral water and was chastised for asking where it was. I'll never go back, it was hideous.

We had our Christmas Lunch on Friday for our team from Essential Beauty. Food and service was absolutely fantantastic.

We used to love this place had previously given it 5 stars. Our last visit was not good, the service was hopeless and slow and a popular, amazing dish has been removed from the menu. To top it off our favourite dessert wasn't cooked properly and semi cold!

My partner and i moved to Adelaide about 7 months ago and we try a new restaurant every single weekend and this is definitely not on our highly rated list. Staff seemed flustered and not knowledgeable about the menu and had an overall demeanor of not really wanting to be there. The food was super average, especially the pasta and pasta sauce i had which you think would be one of their best dishes. With all the amazing food choices here in Adelaide, we won't be returning here for seconds.

Lovely restaurant, although very noisy and a bit cramped. We had the banquet and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return.

Amazing. Delicious. Cozy. Friendly. All of the above! This place is inside an old and repurposed house but the decore and seating fit perfectly for a nice dinner for two or a large party for work or special anniversary. The banquet meal is really great to get a taste of a few items from each part of the menu, so highly recommended. Individual plates are large, even for the small option, so come with a big appetite and leave with a smile

Still trying to figure the hype and talk-up about this place, food wise. Lovely building and alfresco dining areas, but food's mediocre.
Always a sign of kitchen ill-discipline when 2 plates of the same pasta arrives at the table, one heaped full, and the other merely half full. Surely it'd be the same cook dishing out both pasta dishes, so why the huge difference in servings? !
Pasta was passable but nothing to rave about, and veal saltimboca was so salty my fellow diner couldn't eat it.

We tried and shared almost all the pastas on the menu and they where all amazing. Service was very good and the outside area is setup very well

One of the best plates of pasta I have had outside of Italy. Order the crab pasta. Ask for them to bring the chilli oil. Once the pasta arrives add some grated Parmesan and a good dash of the chilli. Enjoy with a good light red. Eat slowly, savour each bite over some good conversation. Finish with the tiramisu and enjoy life again.

Food and service was sensational. A cool place to be on a very hot night. Sound system sounded very distorted and surrounding noise was very loud.

Excellent service, however appalling average food. Came in with a girl, ordered from the mains list on the menu. Their 'big' isn't very big, nor was it very tasty. Would recommend looking around a little bit more before heading into this restaurant.

The food was amazing. Everything was delicious and some of the most flavoursome meals I've ever tasted. All of the staff were warm, passionate and so knowledgeable about the food being served. The waiter was absolutely brilliant, he is genuine and definitely knows the courses! He came to check on us just enough to show his concern/give a personal touch but was never overbearing.

I cannot say I enjoyed the food as much as I did a year ago. I think the quality of food has dropped dramatically.

Great food, we had the $49 banquet so we shared and tried everything between 4 of us. Great experience. The deserts are also worth having!

The gorgonzola gnocchi is to die for. The atmosphere is great and the food is always good quality. The outdoor section is under-cover but is cold at night time. The heaters are only useful if you are sitting right next to them.
