Delectable Indian food, my curry was yummy and they even changed their menu item to cater for me, I would give the staff all big kisses.

Delicious Indian cuisine at an affordable price. My first experience was great. Will definitely return.

Regular Indian dining spot! Friendly, welcoming and warm atmosphere. Food is amazing. Most people would say Indian food is good in winter but this restaurant offers dishes that are refreshing in summer. We had the Raja platter which is a great starter to share. Prawn Pakoras, Tandoori prawn & squid. Mains we had Chicken Tikka Masala, butter chicken, ruby prawns and beef kerala. As a side we had rice and cheese garlic naan (best combination) we also had some cocktail drinks that was on their special menu. Also if youre a huge fan of Naan, they had a special dessert Naan. I would recommend this place going in a big group so you can try different dishes as we did. If you can't finish it, take it home! The building is so rustic and beautiful, it's a great romantic dining spot too!

Great indian food in a historic Tea Tree Gully building, some good local beers. Great spot and good food.

I really like this place the only thing is when we leave everything we have on has to be washed as we smelling of wood fire

Service was good but food was average especially when Lamb cutlets are on the menu and when you receive them you get Lamb loin chops!
Pretty poor that a lot of the beers on the menu are not available and terrible gluggy rice.
More than likely won’t be dining here again.

A lovely Indian restaurant in an old home it seems. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We had the banquet and it was more than enough per person. We will definitely be back

Not sure what's happening at Ruby's, been a long term fan for many years, always defending the slightly higher prices than other local Indian places, on the basis of great flavour and fabulous food. Recently noticing it has been declining and sadly after last night's experience of takeaway, wont be going back in a while, if it all. Really hope they manage to turn it around.it has been a great place in the past.

I would like to say thankyou to the ruby team the food was amazing its back how it use to be 15 years ago lots of meat and soo tender and sauce is soooo good cheers we be back for sure its on our list

Amazing india food, i think much better then many indian restaurants in adelaide, economical and good service, "thali" is one of the best options to taste maximum dish in one go

Ruby's use to be the place to go. But gee it looks really bad. Very dirty. In total disrepair. Staff were not good. Clueless. Which is very sad.
I wouldn't recommend going here. We will never return.
Presentation of premises were really bad.
Service was terrible.
Food was average.
Time to sort things out.

Basically I used to work at this restaurant many years ago I knew the owners and the staff when I was employed back then roughly about 10 years ago. The staff used to be fantastic the food was amazing the place was crystal clean we made everyone feel welcome all my guests are welcome.after eating there this evening being the 13/04/2022 the white female staff member (Caitlin) the girl behind the counter is an absolute rude disrespectful staff member very unwelcoming way overpriced she served us for food that we had not even ordered but yet she said but I did repeat the order to you but in the end I thought too To let the pace lie I’ll just pay for the food because she did bring it out to the table. And when we finished we were actually going to order dessert but no one came to clear our table so we decided to just get up and leave.moving forward I would not recommend this place to any of my friends and family.the staff need a good lesson in training for customer service and actually listening to what the customer has ordered and also the table behind me also having issues but I didn’t wanna get involved with them because I have my own issues so 1 star out of five for Ruby Raja on tea tree gully 13 April 2022

Dropped in after work for dinner. Had the Curry Plate. The best as you get a bit of everything. Service was good and staff friendly.

My husband and I dropped in for a quick bite to eat at Ruby Raja on Wednesday evening while waiting for our son to finish his gymnastics class. Service was friendly and efficient and the food delicious. Service was super quick - we'd barely completed researching what a 'cash store' was (the original purpose of the old building in which the restaurant is situated)! The place had a warm, welcoming and family-friendly feel. Highly recommend.

Arrive with a date, roughly an hour before the end of service only to be told that kitchen will only cook take-away meals.

We had a great experience was quiet when we arrived and had a few choices where to sit but seats started to fill after we got there. Meals and rice were extremely good, garlic cheese naan bread very good also. The desert we had fried Naan with ice cream and condensed milk was amazing, perfect end to the meal. Service was great and the quality of food justified the price. Very satisfied.

The banquet we had was simply divine. Big chunks of tender lamb in the curry, great flavour. After going to another similar restaurant recently, there was no comparison. The food is well worth every cent! The drinks were very tasty and everything arrived in good time. 10/10 would recommend

Very disappointing. As a long standing customer prices have sky-rocketed and food quality has deteriorated. New management is arrogant and told me business is run to suit them not us.
