Rezz Hotel reviews
81AMAZING! What more can I say? ! The menu is gorgeous, the service is second to none! This place is a gem in the north east, and we are so lucky to call it our local. Do yourself a favour and come and see all that the new Rezz has to offer!
Nice looking venue with the upgrade that has been done there recently. I got the Rezz burger which was nice but and my mate got the beef snitty a bit pricey for front bar prices. Beers are also up there in the pricey range.
Amazing service. Food awesome. Excellent customer service. VERRY VERRY VERRY CLEAN dishes. Better then most places.will frequent reguarly.
Recently had 2 meals at the Rezz, the first one was average & the 2nd time I thought I would play safe & order crumbed fish, it was over cooked & very dry. The venue looks very swish, but the chefs need to lift their game, especially for a new establishment
Nicely updated decor and great outdoor area. Oysters kilpatrick served luke warm, very average. Pizza was nice. Approx 50 y.o. Woman taking my order was very rude and should not be near customers.table staff were lovely.
Worked in a lot of restaurants including the rezz, but will not encourage anyone to work there due to the work ambience and ethics, and how they treated me!
Had 40th birthday party there in private outdoor area for 25 people, fantastic setting overlooking manicured lawn, good food and service.
Such a great looking place inside, and a good vibe.
That was as good as it got.
So many flies pestering us, it kept me busy squatting them I suppose.
Then the food came out.
My pizza was under cooked a soggy.
The mixed salad bowl was not great.
Nuggets and chips were average.
As we were sat near the order up shelf I noticed one of the staff dipping her fingers in a big bowl of hot chips and then dipping in sauce before popping it in her mouth. This happened a few times before she picked up customers dishes for serving, and not washing her hands. (we got her name)
Then from the same big stainless bowl of chips the chef distributed the rest of the chips onto customers plates (our nuggets and chips being one of them).
Mmmm enjoy.
I recently visited the Rezz hotel restaurant.
Amazing interior with bright and warm atmosphere. Very easy to park and great location (next to the Thorndon Park).
Especially the staff who looked after us (Chris) was ABSOLUTELY great. He looked after customers with his professional customer service mindset. I will definitely visit again with my family and friends because of your great service. Great work mate!
In addition, the fresh oven pizza and iced coffee were great.:)
Perfectly located hotel next to Thornden Park, The Rezz is looking much fresher after its recent re-fit.
The open kitchen offers a wonderful showcase of the team in action, making the menu even more enticing.
There is much on offer and wood oven pizza is a sensation, but the 5* stand out was the the crab linguine.
Also there is an excellent selection of sweets you would find in an Italian Cafe.
And after dinner, a stroll around Thornden Park as sun begins to set.
Brilliant
Thought we would try the newly renovated hotel. First impression beautiful, large and clean. However the food was nothing special and very expensive. Ordered fritto misto $32.00 got 1 large prawn, 5 calamari rings, 1 very small garfish (illegal size in SA) had
no flesh on it and tasted like a piece of leather, chips and wilted green salad. WON'T BE GOING BACK!
Great redevelopment. Lovely areas. Good coffee. Nice menu and food. Friendly and efficient staff. Great chat with the owner. Looking forward to the continuing developments.
What a huge and impressive renovation. Chicken schnitzel typically pub style, great gin menu, coffee and sweets on offer.
Friendly staff. Will try another dish for my second visit of the revamped Rezz.
Excellent food and service. Nice and clean dining area. Nice to have a little arcade area. Outdoor dining area great for kids with a bit of grass to run around, can't wait til they finish renovating the place for more things to occupy kids with while the adults sit and chat.
Great food, new building, indoor and outdoor seating options. A playground, even if small would add to the venue options available to kids.
We stopped in here for a quick snack to get the kids some energy to get home after visiting Thorndon Park for some fresh air. The sausage roll was “the best I’ve had” according to my wife, and my spicy chicken and veg pie was equally delicious. Cafe food is definitely recommended for a light lunch. I look forward to them finishing their works and opening back up properly.
Rezzi in process of rebuilding, worth a look at new size and layout, foundations laid and first storey up lift shafts in place. Too early to rate, have to wait till finished!
Had dinner, food was awesome 10/10 staff are all polite, friendly and very helpful 10/10
I drive 30 minutes for this service and I would highly recomend to all that are looking for an awesome meal and quality service
Bonnie and sian in the gaming room is awesome
Rezz popup Cafe has great coffee and food options while the rebuild is underway.
I enjoy my coffee break while out walking with a latte by the heater or a takeaway to drink and keep moving.
I recommend the Pear and Raspberry bread too!
Friendly staff.
Was a really nice atmosphere, easy to talk to everyone at our table, without having to shout.
The food was delicious!
Pretty good service, meals came out reasonably quick too.
Would definately go back again
