Be very careful what you ask for.
I have to say today's venture through the Red Rooster drive thru was like no other.
While my friend was placing our order she asked for whatever they call their chicken roll. She was asked a question, I assume a variation on the item, to which she said 'no thanks, just a plain one'.
We got home & sat ready to eat our late lunch & to my amusement (& a tad frustrated) the staff at Red Rooster had actually given us a plain roll.no chicken - nothing.
If I'd known that I would have at least saved my chips to put on it.
I don't know if I should give it a 1 or 5 star rating for service. Ohh what the hell.we got a laugh. 5 stars for service.

All our chicken was dry and chips soggy potato gravy was disgusting. Staff not very friendly and the toilets were feral and tables dirty.

Hit and miss with drive thru order. Ordered 18x pieces of hot honey fried chicken and half of the chicken had no sauce on it. Called up the arndale store and their response was "OK" and long silence before I had to say what cna you about it? Seriously? !

We keep coming back for the fried chicken and have recommended to our friends! Crispy, tender, well-cut pieces and cooked perfectly. Favourite is the honey fried chicken (limited time only). Staff were friendly and accomodating. App is easy to use as well, plenty of offers available.

The drinks in the fridge could be cooler and so the air conditioner especially on a day like today at 41C. Considering, the outside temperature, RR did very well and as I had to wait for the RAA the staff kindly refilled a water bottle with cold water.

Really impressed by the chicken. It's not like it used to be, now it's delicious and not greasy. Shall definitely be going back to the Arndale one.

Very very terrible service. The speaker at the menu board is hard to hear clearly.
They gave me my order completely wrong. Even after repeating my order to me at the window they still got it wrong.
They had the guts to try charge me more for there mistake ahh no you stuffed up I'm not paying extra. Chicken was cold chips were cold and soggy potato and gravy was warm.

I suggest you get workers who speak clear English. I won't be returning as your workers are a bunch of useless floggs.

Absolutely terrible service i tried to order through the speaker box just nuggets and drink repeated it 5 times and was still not understood, as the worker repeated items i did not mention trying to upsell or scam me or something in the end i ended up saying forget my order im going elsewhere and left i wont be coming back until you fix the speaker box and get someone who speaks english.

Worst experience ever. Had to repeat our order when ordering and they still repeated it back wrong and charged us wrong. Staff were extremely rude and didn’t own their mistake. Think there was a language barrier as they did not speak clear English. Food was cold and chips were soggy. Do not recommend and will not be returning.

I bought some chicken pieces and rooster rolls from here. To start are they now killing baby chickens because these are the smallest pieces I've ever had and as far as the rooster rolls they have gone up 20% and the size of the rolls have shrunk and the amount of chicken was pathetic and over powered by the pool of Mayo they used. I'm sick of the service at this rip off rooster. The so called chicken shop is a glorified chip shop that charges way to much for the minuscule servings. My suggestion is go somewhere else anywhere else. You would be better off just handing over your money at least the staff would treat you better.

So after I contacted them about my previous issues and they told me to contact them via the feedback form. THEY OFFERED ME LESS THAN HALF OF THE ORDER AS COMPENSATION. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POSSIBLE THE WORST RED ROOSTER I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. BEWARE AND PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

There costumer service is upstanding they are always so friendly and food has been always fresh. Best red rooster I’ve ever been

I don't know how hard it is to pick up your empty box & place it in the bin on your way out, I know it's part of the service but when the staff are flat out give them a break use the bin.

Ordered through the app for delivery. My order was marked as delivered when it had infact not been. Called the store multiple times, no one was answering. On the 12th call I spoke to a member of staff that said I needed to call doordash as delivery wasn't their responsibility. After speaking to doordash my order was reordered and a new drive went to pick up, they arrived there to be told it was already delivered. They contacted me and to this point in time there still has not been a resolution. Terrible customer service and very poor communication. Order was originally made at 6: 52, it is now 8: 46.

Update the order was cancelled and when I called to inquire all the blame was placed with doordash. That is completely unprofessional

Loved the rooster roll as always. I think that is the best thing on the menu.
But I tried these new spicy fried chicken pieces, and hated them.
They had this spicy sauce poured over them.
The sauce seemed to be oil based. Because the paper box was just floating in oil.
It was extremely messy. 2 of the moist towelswere not enough to get the oil off my hands and fingers.
I highly recommend the rooster roll. But steer clear of the friend chicken unless you love eating pure oil.

The food was really good u think Red Rooster needs to change there Gravy and Mash tho that was really bad but the new Fried chicken is top notch.

Fries were saggy. Burger buns were cold. And the cheddar was cold too. I was dead hungry. So had to gulp it

Clean store, friendly service and great chicken. All of the order filled properly and recyclable packaging.

Had roast chicken and vegetables with gravy very nice. But the place needs an upgrade water on the toilet floor, staff were very nice.

By far the best Red Rooster outlet in Adelaide (not many to choose from).
The staff are pleasant and nice.
Service is quick and the quality of food is good. Of late red rooster has come up with good deals on the app and a good rewards program.
