Port Germein Caravan Park reviews
60No ovens in camp kitchen or cabin. Clean and tidy. OK for stop over but very basic. Quiet area, basic supplies at local shop. Pub does meals on Friday night only.
Non powered site, shady and out of the wind. Huge trees. Great views of the beach. Brand new, sparkling clean facilities. Great hospitality. Peaceful pocket of nature.
Well our first one night was mainly a night stay before heading in to Adelaide the next day.
Great position across the road from the Bay but the water was a long way away.
The Manager/staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We had to make another trip into Adelaide 7 weeks later and decided to stay again Faye greeted us this time also welcoming and helpful. Thank you for your kindness we will see you next time we are holidaying in SA.
PS to he amenities are the nicest we have seen for a long time, great work
Stayed overnight. Nice new clean amenities. Greeted with a smile and an abundance of friendliness. Nice place to relax. Would recommend to other travellers.
Great place to stay! Awesome people that run it and toilets and showers are kept in good order and very clean and tidy! We loved our stay
Quiet little town with an enthralling history. Wonderful park management that were exceptionally helpful in providing first class assistance. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We grew very fond of Port Germaine. Thank you.
Was a gr8 stay sights were a little small (narrow) not much room to set up annex.sights 17-18.family stayed in cabins they were a little let down. Daughter found a black spider in the bed was freaked out because we had baby's in cabin, fridge didn't work properly but bed was comfy.
Fantastic hidden gem, everything was perfect with up to date amenities. Well done Port Germein community you should be proud.
We arrived late atpt germeine, nowhere to accept us.i rang the caravan park after hours number and the lovely lady managed to vook us in.
Great little park at the end of the longest timber jetty in Australia. New first class amenities. Thoroughly reccomment it.
The best campsite where I have ever been, very tidy and new amenities and Top management. Short walk to the jetty where I saw the most beautiful sunset. Thank you.
Top caravan park! Beautiful and clean camp, very friendly and nice owners! The best spot to stop and sleep over for rest, walk and fishing. Only 5 minutes to the beach and the most beautiful jetty I´ve seen. Highly recommended!
The managers and ideal tranquil location, right across the road from the sea, make this a destination to stay at. Happy hour starts at 5pm.
Port Germian caravan park is one you should stay at, amenities clean and tidy park well maintained only a stone throw from the jetty. The managers went well out of their way to help when we had a medical emergency.
Our stay at the Port Germein caravan park was fantastic. New managers are beautiful friendly people. Every one in the park and friendly. Phil and Connie (managers are so helpful they go out of there way to help. The HAPPY HOUR is fun. We will be back. If you get a chance you must drop in to the caravan park. FANTASTIC.
Good amenities for the price. When we went there the only other place open was the pub felt like the place is becoming a ghost town. But if your looking for a quiet place to go crab fishing then this is the place.
Great little town got a lot to offer. Quiet no big noisy crowds. Best amenities I've seen could even be brand new. We felt very welcome. The wooden jetty was a great chance to stretch our legs lots of crabbing and fishing on jetty also saw horses in water having fun this morning.
We have stopped at Port Germein caravan park on numerous occasions. The park has shown a lot of improvement since our last visit. The managers Phil & Connie have obviously put in a lot of time and effort to bring it up from where it was. The toilets and showers are immaculate and the grounds are looking good. I would recommend this community caravan park highly
Great over night stop, a fair priced van park, $30 for family of 4 unpowered tent site. Clean new toilet facilities, quaint old school charm. Jetty walk and playground were great for the kids. Flinders ranges backdrop was beautiful.
