Port Germein Caravan Park reviews
60 Perfect destination after a long hot drive from the West Coat.
Great facilities and brilliant service at the front desk….
The jetty walk at sunset was amazing!
The guy at the caravan park was so nice really made my friends and I feel welcome and he also does a great job keeping everything clean the BBQ, shared kitchen and bathroom where absolutely spotless, the facilities are all really up to date, we camped in tents and all up it was just a fantastic place to camp
Hold on, hold on. Some previous good reviews here, but I’m going to share our own experience for the park. We were put in site 21 approx 5 meters away from what seems to be camp gathering for many caravan park locals. The noise (and music has been continuous past 9pm (I’m not a stickler for quiet time, but what the hell!) Park seems nice enough and I bet there are some who have fond memories here. I’m sure other Vaners seen our position and thought to be glad not in our position. We wouldn’t even sit outside to enjoy the evening due to the noise and gather. We are keeping the tv on to dull the noise at 9: 30pm. Never again. Hope the park keeps enjoying its money off the permanents. Cheers. Have a great evening.
After driving from a Simpson Desert adventure, we were in need of a few days of recovery. This caravan park was the perfect place. Quiet, clean and well cared for. We were served by Kane who was pleasant, and informed us of where to go and what was on in town for the next few days. Plenty of space between sites. Great prices.
Super facilities, lovely and clean, super location, amazing friendly staff - whats not to like? !
I really like this caravan park nice ensuite cabins its a quiet place been here a lot with my family highly recommend it
Fantastic park. New, modern clean amenities block. Large comfortable open plan camp kitchen. Facilities to cook crabs. Very quiet during off season. Very helpful staff.
Stayed one night on two separate occasions. Great little park with spotless facilities well looked after by Peter and Jayne. Quiet little town with nice walk on long jetty. Good food from cafe next door and Vietnamese.
Great caravan park, the new shower block is excellent, but it is a shame that the office staff didn't tell me that the Disability Amenities needed a separate key. But all in all was good.
What a great little caravan park! Hosts were very welcoming and provided great information on what we could do during our short stay to make the most of our visit. The new amenities were clean and the showers had fantastic water pressure. The jetty across the road is such a cool feature of this little town with some interesting history learned. We completely enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a visit here.
Good little park right across road the road from towns historical jetty. Good for crabs as well.
A one night stay in a cabin. Lovely. The managers were welcoming and helpful; communication so easy. The cabin was spotless. It was a simple set-up but so well presented. Thank you.
A great little caravan park not too far off the highway. Very quiet and clean. Step out the front of the park to catch a beautiful sunset over the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere.
Stayed over Christmas/New Year. Quiet little town and very peaceful. Everywhere is dog friendly with toilets and showers immaculate but camp kitchen needs a little TLC. Only negative is that there is no Dump Point on site so you have to use their facilities or drive down to the oval to drop waste. Would definitely stay again
I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely little caravan park. Right on the sea front, it is immaculately maintained with high quality and very clean ablutions block. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for me. One of the best.
I can say enough good things! What a special little town! Caravan park was spotless and our site was huge. So peaceful next time I'll be staying longer.
What a cute caravan park! Close to town, long jetty and playground. We really enjoyed our stay. So very quiet and peaceful.
Great little caravan park right on the beach it is a bit of a gem. It has great cabins. Easy parking for caravans and really good cabins. The management are both very friendly and helpful. Is is close to a cafe and hotel. It is also close to the reported longest timber jetty in Australia. The beach across the road has the longest tide and wisest sand beach you will see
Nice little park. Very friendly management. Super clean shower and toilet facilities. Excellent facilities if you are into fishing and pot fishing.
Lovely little park. Staff are very nice. New amenities block, super-clean - one of the cleanest I have come across in our travels. Camp kitchen & separate crab prepping & cooking area - which was also spotless & to my big surprise, there was no smell whatsoever. Close to the Pier cafe, the Hotel as well as the Bowls club which apparently has the cheapest drinks in town. The wooden jetty is also close & an experience. Great staying here for 3 nights.
