Good food, good prices, busy weekday lunches, but if you come at 11.30 am when it opens you will be in good form.

Great customer service and the meals i had here several times were authentic. I had mee goreng and ayam penyet, really recommend these 2 dishes from Pondok Daun. Great Indonesian food in Adelaide!

Authentic and consistently good Indonesian food. Generous portions and fair prices - well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

Every single time of my last visit, which happened to be at night, this place has always been packed. Pretty impressive for an Indonesian restaurant despite the the competition. Aside this one, I don't know other Indonesian restaurant around Adelaide that I know of so I can't really compare how the food is. Nevertheless, I liked the food.

The nasi goreng and mi goreng are really good. Stir fried kwae diow and her fen are really good as well. I'm pretty sure I butchered the spelling btw haha

I've had dinner at Pondok Daun Restaurant
a number of times and enjoy the experience very much.
Always received warmly, given a table and a menu then allowed to look over the various choices without pressure.
The food is delicious, fresh, authentic Indonesian.
A lovely meal, leaving you contented and nourished.

Recently had a solo dining experience here and was very impressed. The food was wonderful, but it was the attentive and helpful staff that made all the difference. I will definitely be returning.

Really nice food. I especially like the sweet beef coconut rice. I come here almost weekly, and they don’t disappoint! Their fried anchovies is a must! So crunchy, just slightly too salty though. Also their soup is a really nice addition when you eat too much rice, it gives a really nice compliment to the dish, except it is also a little salty as well (maybe too much msg?)

An unassuming little restaurant serving authentic Indonesian cuisine. Good location and friendly owners and staff. Highly recommended.

Great flavours but bad quality meat. The pile at the top of my plate is just fat and sinew. Friendly service but the food needs to be improved. Also I wouldn’t call this cosy - as listed. It’s fairly small but far from comfortable - canteen furniture.

Food was excellent! Truly authentic with very reasonable prices despite the large portions. Reminded me of being back in Indonesia

Had the rib was so tender and flavorful char kway chow was 1 of better ones I had and it's very affordable.
