Playford Tavern

Good tavern food at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is kept very clean. The indoor playground is great for the kids. Had a big family gathering here and no complaints at all really.

Good meals. Kids eat free with a paying adult. Chicken Snitzel's were a bit small compared to the beef ones.

Im a big snitty fan.but you guys changed the snitty from my last visit and its for the worse not better

Scotch steak for lunch very nice and well cooked chips nice too with dianne gravy.will be back good varied menu will need to try.

They had fresh peas with my pie and they were so amazing. Anyone who takes the time to cook fresh peas is a great chef.

Went there for dinner last night, such rude unfriendly bar staff, made you feel like not even wanting to go up to the bar to order your second drink. In particular the old lady in the front bar with short hair and glasses, she has treated us like this on 2 occasions now and the old lady with the long black hair in the gaming room.
Won't be bothered spending my money here anymore. I would rather go elsewhere in the local area, where the staff are always friendly and welcoming

Have given 3 stars based on the food, playground and cleanliness, - 2 for the very rude waitresses, been there say 6 times over the last year and each time they got ruder! 1 young girl say mid 20s brown hair in march even snapped several times at my autistic 5 year old. Won't be back

Great feed and very affordable staff are super friendly.the Manager Bec is such a hard worker making sure everything was right and we were happy with the meals.cant wait to come back

Best accomodation I have found in the area so far. Sound proofing in the rooms is not the best, otherwise I do recommend it.

Just had the Lobster and Steak special and I'm not impressed the lobster was stone cold and the steak was warm at best, When I asked for my money back for the lobster the manager basically threw the money down on the table in front of me. I eat here probably once a fortnight if not more and I ALWAYS order my Steak Medium Well done and Mostly it comes out cooked correctly but sometimes it comes out cooked incorrectly.

My partner and I celebrated our birthday party at the Playford Tavern lastnight. We had never been there before. But I surely recommend this place for all social functions. The staff are amazing and friendly, the atmosphere is so welcoming and a great place for the kids to enjoy the play room. I highly recommend this amazing place and my partner and I will surely be a regular from now on. 100 's from us.

Meals are below average, the kids indoor playground is ok, better meals and indoor playgrounds in gawler and Williston

The staff was very accommodating we had a four year old with us the play room is great we had an enjoyable time

The past two visits have been really good. Food well cooked and delicious.
Some of the staff aren't super friendly. Others are very nice.

We have never had a bad experience when we eat at the Playford Tavern. Always warmly welcomed. The food is great, always just the right amount, always perfectly cooked.

We still miss the buffet section.

There is a kids playroom which allows them to get their wriggles out and not annoy other guests.

The premises are always nice and clean.

The food was delicious, the Graziers Medallion melted in your mouth.
We did miss the salad & veg bar but understand restrictions.

Great meals all the time price is exellent service is great friendly and exellent great for family and children as they have a play room

I had the porterhouse steak which was nice and tender
Good place to have a family dinner but can get a bit nosey at time as you may have a few kids running about being kids
