Platos Greek Chargrill reviews
59 DoorDash delivery.
Unfortunately we received overly dry lamb. It was however well seasoned, the chips were nice and crunchy. The Greek slaw was mainly onion, the halloumi too rubbery, the tzatziki was overpowered with garlic.
I'm a regular here and as much as I hate to tell Steve his food is regularly really good. It's not the cheapest place to purchase a yiros but certainly one of the better ones.and for me the most convenient.
My go to item is the plate of lamb with chips and Greek Salad.good drop of Tzasiki and hot chilli.
The lunch special Chicken Yiros is really good, I like it when Steve cooks the chicken just a little extra and you get a smokey flavour. The Pitas are more like pillows than the wafer thin wraps other places dish up. I'm not convinced one way or the other really but if you are used to thin, mix it up and have a taste of Platos.
There are some often overlooked items on the menu the meat free yiros (Green Greek & Haloumi) options in particular deserve a look in - the vegetarian members of my family that have become fans over the years. For a lighter meal I sometimes go for the prawn souvlaki or loukaniko.
Whether its the Greek music playing softly in the background, the delicious food or Steve's philosophical teachings I'm often drawn to this place like a child to the pied piper when lunch time rolls around.definitely worth a visit
The word expensive is not related to one's affordability, it is related to what the average market price is for a particular product. "Expensive definition " commanding a high price and especially one that is not based on intrinsic worth. Your comment is disrespectful, irresponsible and ignorant.
Rather than making condescending comments to anyone that criticises your business, you should try taking on board all comments, positive and negative, and take learnings from them.
I have purchased product from your business and have chosen not to return, not because of cost but because of poor quality food and service.
Your anology with Cheap as Chips is not only a very poor comparison but only confirms your ignorance and how out of touch you really are.
I suggest you get a reality check and your delusions of grandeur only show that you are not customer centric at all.
Plato- All I really know is the extent of my own ignorance
Thanks for your response, it only confirms that you choose to make condescending comments rather than take any learnings. Your high turnover of staff is yet another confirmation of your poor people skills.
Naming your business after a philosopher does not make you one. Let's put it into perspective, you are just frying food of average quality that is over priced. I can afford the price but can't stomach the poor quality and service FYI.
Plato- Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle
Thanks for the laugh, you talking about credibility, what next.good staff retention, philosophy.
Blatant rip off, pay $12 for the yiros then rips u off but charging $4 for a can of coke. Go to blue and white yiros place in North Adelaide much better
Customer service 0/5. The owner of the shop with bold head have no sense of how to talk with their customers and he act like he is soo busy even if he has only 2 Customers in his tiny shop.
This is for the owner, learn how to give respect to others and how to talk properly. Talk like the way you talk with your family… if you talk rudely with them, then SHAME ON YOU. Have some sense.
We go here almost every other week and the food is good, bug portions and they have very friendly staff
Frequent Uber Eats customer here.
First time ordering from- Platos Greek Chargrill. Was hoping for authentic Greek flavours based on the menu.
I'm well satisfied! Flavourful & fresh! Tasty homemade desserts! Decent portion size. Highly recommended!
. Also just read a recent review by- (Dev N Dee). Found it rude & offensive so has been reported!
Look forward to ordering with Platos again- thanks:)
Uber Eats delivery. Ordered: Arni kleftiko
(stolen lamb) spanakopita, kourambiethes, melomakarona.
Beautifully delicious, juicy and tender succulent lamb with lemon potatoes and a Greek salad. Spanakopita was also delicious. The biscuits also tasty.
Highly recommend that you go here or order delivery if you’re searching for excellent quality traditional Greek cuisine. I’ll be a returning customer most definitely.
Thank You to the wonderful staff and owners, much appreciated.
The food was not as good as it was before, my meat was mostly fat and the salad had no dressing
Great food, highly recommend. Definitely try the loukoumades though - they are amazing! Staff are friendly too.
My name is Reece Christopher. Your food is great, no doubt. I often order through uber eats. But I noticed how badly you treat uber drivers.very sad to see that. These are the people who helped local communities during pandemic. I read your comment calling them "C" grade uber drivers. You can't grade people like that. You can't judge anyone. Improve your attitude towards these hardworking people. Thanks.
Great service, yummy food (we ordered a couple of packs, and desserts)
We will be back!
Thank you.
I just wanna say the owner of this restaurant totally rude. Today i went there and he is rude with me.
My opinion is that if u wanna run business then that is not not appropriate attitude.
Order through ubereats. Yiros were nice not the chips with feta had a ridiculous amount of herbs that made impossible to finish them
Food is beyond excellent, haven’t had a Yiros in Australia that gets close to these (and it’s pretty on par with ones in Greece too)
10/10 would recommend.
Very stubborn and won't agree to his mistake over charged me a coke for $15.double thinking of going back. Not happy
Had a wonderful experience here.the ambience and owner was very welcoming and made my wife and I feel very positive while enjoying the amazing food.
Last time I ordered from here I said I wouldn’t order again but sadly made that mistake. Inferior quality food at prime prices. I swear the salt & pepper calamari were from a supermarket freezer. Very disappointed once again!
Sorry for using company profile - but too lazy to switch profile! Kimon here! This a 'you get what you pay for' place. Quality ingredients - and just can't fault Steve and his team. I've tried just about everything off the menu and love everything. A great local business. Well done guys!
Passed this small Greek restaurant for many times and decided to support the local small business today. I love Greek foods and I tried many Greek restaurants before. I should say this one is not bad but far from great. The food is small size (so it is expensive depending on the quantity). No services at all. You do not feel you are treated as a customer. I ordered three dishes for take away but no bag offered.
