Pho Khang's reviews
71 The quality has gone down dramatically my last 3 visits, I've been coming here for the past 2+ years and always had a good experience.
The pho noodles have been less fresh and recently the spring rolls were smaller and had more wrapping than filling, definately not value for money.
We hope they improve their service, there are no more smiles.
Thank you
Not happy with the service today because there was no greeting, the food was not put on the table politely as it looked like it was chucked on from behind and I looked at my partner to see if she noticed the same and she did. I only finished my food because I paid for it otherwise if I knew I would not have ordered.
Guy at the front packing orders wearing the glasses was all snotty and wiped his boogie. Did not even wash his hands and continued on packing customers orders, touching cutlery, stationery, counter tops. Also the other guy was preparing bread rolls, no gloves worn just touching customers food with his bare hands
Always have a great meal here, service is relaxed and meal sizes enormous! Satay chicken was fantastic as was the rest of our meal.
A disappointing experience.ordered 4 dishes: combination pho, rice vermicelli, kwe teow and pad thai (extra spicy). The first 3 dishes was ok.but been waiting for almost 40 minutes, the pad thai hasn't arrived yet.asked to the waiter and his response was "your noodle isn't spicy enough? What a joke.had to explain that one of the dishes hasn"t arrived yet.after waiting for another 10 minutes, the dish came.instead of the ordered extra spicy pad thai, however, it's *hot and spicy noodle*. And we can heard that the cooks were laughed full of happiness, had no problems in providing excellent customer services nor customer satisfaction.
If this was my dine-in only experience review it wouldve been no lower than a 4/5 but unfortuantly we ordered take away for the first time and we were very disappointed. We always order the Beef noodle soup with beef slices. Our order was ready within 5 minutes which was great! By the time we got home and opened everything up our soup was just warm, the beef was in a separate container completely RAW so due to the soup not being hot enough you could see how red and bloody the broth once we added the beef and it wasnt until we microwaved our meal every 5 minutes waiting for the beef to cook that it turned out to be just okay - considering there was no lemon, mint leaves or even bean sprouts with our order which is always offered with dine in which yiu pay the same price for!
So disappointed, was so put off having to microwave raw meat in with our bloody coloured broth to have it turn out all grainy and gross.
I shouldnt have to spend a half hour trying to cook my own meal when the meat could have just been cooked in store before hand like other restuarants do. Will not be ordering take away from here again, and honestly puts me off from dining in too seeing how low their standards are for their take away customers.
UPDATE: i did not eat this meal but my partner did and was feeling tummy sick all day. DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY
Probably the largest vermicelli noodle bowl available in this part of Adelaide. Good flavours and very filling. Highly recommended
Make no mistake, if you leave here without feeling replete, it's your choice!
The food is tasty and plentiful!
Only order the largest sized soup/ laksa if you have a very big appetite and a very empty stomach.
We came with a group from work, many of us have returned with our families.
I went to dine in, I asked the waitress if the grilled chicken with broken rice has chicken breast. She said yes.
She was also rudely answering the phone and taking another persons order at the same time as taking my order!
My food comes out and it’s chicken thigh and it’s fatty.
I told her she had got my order wrong and I asked for the chicken breast.
She kept saying the kitchen doesn’t know, and she wouldn’t do anything about my food or offer to re make it for me.
Even when she confirmed that it was chicken breast that I had ordered.
She then asked my boyfriend to pay to order chicken breast.
I didnt want to order more food.
Usually the food is good here and I have had that dish before made with chicken breast, but I am very disappointed by the service tonight. I didn’t end up eating my food. And I wasted my money
With no problem resolved
They also were still using plastic straws and plastic single use cutlery for takeaway orders, even where there is a ban on single use plastic cutlery. They had jars full of plastic knifes and forks to give to customers when they picked up takeaway and put a plastic straw in my drink.
You’ve lost a regular customer now.
It was ok. We're from Melbourne so we k ow how spoiled we are when it comes to food. A little overpriced and food wasn't spectacular but it was bad either.
Had some Vietnamese meat rolls for lunch.
Very tasty and flavoursome, lots of choices and very popular place to eat at, or takeaway.
This place was good couple years ago now its garbage poor service cold soup never getting anything from this place ever again
The Beef noodle soup (pho bo) and Combination rice (Com tam dac biet) absolute best here. A great value for money and portion size. However, disappointed in the other dishes especially the Khang special stir fry, Pad Thai etc.
OMG! Best Asian restaurant around! Such huge meals for their money. Fantastic value. Food is always superb and staff are easy going and want you to have the best meal. Not the 'ritziest' place but, clean and helps keep prices so good. Recommend checking this one out!
Ordered the Crispy Pork Rice, I am underwhelmed to say the least. For a steep price of $16 I expected larger and better quality portions. Give their rice dishes a miss but their pho is among the best in Adelaide. Service is fine, but nothing to praise.
Had the best service tonight. The staff were super respectful and friendly! Thank you for a pleasant experience, and delicious food as always!
Medium size pho beef brisket and tendon. Great tasting and a very generous serving for a medium.
Usually great food but the last 2 times have been very disappointing. Food had no flavour the broth they bring out as a soup was cold as.noodles tasted like they were really old.only good thing was the pickled cabbage. Going home hungry.
Love the Pho soup exspecially but generous serving of food and kind staff enjoyed the experience love dining in there.
The Laksa there last night was nice, however there was a hair in the beef noodle soup. The beef balls in the beef noodle soup also was a bit off.
