Over priced on the refreshments. I mean REALLY overpriced, and I’m from Melbourne.
Otherwise it’s just a cinema. It doesn’t have the Palace Cinemas feel.

Excellent cinema. The tickets were very cheap, and the theatres themselves were excellent. Some of the best chairs I have ever seen in a cinema!

Stale popcorn. Cinema itself is okay, if not a bit cramped. Would love to see Palace Nova implement some form of reminder about cinema etiquette, especially since they serve alcohol. Which in itself is great, but also lends itself to it's own consequences.

Great place to escape with a good movie and beat the heat. A cinema for grown ups, take a glass or a bottle of wine in to the session.

Won t go back. Actually they have cozy small rooms, but they let people drink alcohol during the screening and you end up with a bunch of drunks laughing and screaming during the movie, with no one taking care of it.

Avoid the midnight screenings in December - they don't run the a/c. Rise of Skywalker played during a heatwave and the theatre was sweltering. The older woman next to me was dripping with sweat. Several people left during the film unable to take it. This also happened with Last Jedi and Force Awakens. Go to a suburban cinema instead.

Saw the movie ‘us’.

It wasn’t a great movie but we loved the cinema! Very comfortable seats and you can drink alcohol inside.

Classy set up and worth making trip into CBD.

Comfortable theatre with good prices for students. Some of the theatre rooms are small so if your watching a Triple A action film, make sure it's in the 1st cinema room. Enjoy

Being a member gives you discount movie tickets & one free on your birthday. And any New movies. Also if a senior it is lower, you have too phone on what they provide. I find it is close and at moment they have Spanish movies. As well English.

Seats are comfortable

They've got a lot of cinemas and is the ideal spot for students to go to as the student ticket 's only 8.50. It's 20for an adult and not worth it as the screens were quite small!

Great decor and vibe, and there's always plenty going on, from festivals to Q and A's with actors and directors (local and international)

Hit or miss (I guess they never miss huh) seating as some times you have some of the comfiest chairs in all of cinema and other times the seats are terrible on your back. All of this is made null though as the tickets are extremely cheap, especially for high school children as they have a special deal for people with student cards. This deal gives you access to tickets under $10 which is supremely excellent pricing and beats everyone else.

Far out >12 cinemas? In the CBD? !
For a building like this with such flexibility that allows randos to hire out cinemas for gameplay, it deserves more recognition!

Very nice quality. Many screens and rooms are quite small but the movies can be appreciated more that way I feel.

The only and biggest cinema with the largest screen in south Australia it definelty lives up to its value. At times food and tickets may be a bit expensive but all is worth the experience of a lifetime.

I only ever go to Palace Nova for special screenings and events but each visit I've found the cinemas to be very clean and comfortable. They have a nice selection of sweets and some savoury options as well. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Plenty of carparks close by which are easy to navigate to.

Very nice movie theatre, unlike other places, they sell wine, beer and cheese platters which you are allowed to take in to the movie with you. A whole lot nices than your standard popcorn. Great atmosphere and location. Must visit i'd say
