Family and pet friendly. I had an amazing experience here with such friendly staff and excellent food. If you haven't had their Grapple cider I reccomend you have it with one of their platter selections or oxenburger. Cannot wait to go there again!

Always perfect. Food, coffee, setting and friendly staff. The setting is what sets this place apart from others.

What a combination of a venue with wine tasting and a cafe with gourmet cakes and coffee! Attention to detail and food was outstanding, not to mention lovely surroundings of the lake and vineyards!

Not enough staff. We came in and were told to sit down for table service. We asked if we could do the wine tasting while we were waiting. Our waiter said that they were too busy to do any tastings. We were the only ones on the entire inside of the restaurant, with some tables full outside. On a nice weather day you wouldn't expect anything else. There was a woman standing behind the wine counter and serving people so we thought we could pop up for a couple samples. We got there and the waiter came in and scolded her for serving wines. He said that he had already said no wine tastings. She apologized and looked embarrassed and stopped serving everyone at the counter. She remained behind the counter and he had her making coffees instead. Additional people came in afterwards and asked for wine tastings. She told them that she couldn't serve them wine for a while. They ended up standing there waiting. Ridiculous. If half of your business is wine and you have an entire counter solely for that, then I would assume that you would want to sample and sell your wines, not discourage people from trying them.especially for the clientele that are not there to eat. When the food arrived the waiter apologized and that said they had some issues with the kitchen. My piadina came out with one slice of turkey on it. Another staff member would have alleviated the stress on the current staff and improved the overall experience for everyone.
