Oxenberry Farm Wines reviews
44 Gorgeous. Lovely. Pretty.
We went to Oxenberry for breakfast and they didn't disappoint.
Food was yummy. Staff were friendly.
Then we went for a walk after through the vineyard and it was absolutely beautiful.
But wineries are one of my favourite places to go, so I never have a bad time.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch and a glass of rosé on the Veranda. The Brazilian croquettes were tasty.
Well I honestly didn't see this place.
Thankfully my husband did.
They have the best breakfast ever.
Such a good quality breakfast. You would be hard pressed to get any better.
My husband went out and had steak & eggs.
The best steak he has had for ages!
I had lovely scrambled Eggs and bacon.
It was perfect.
Coffee fantastic. The view is totally awesome.
The staff are absolutely fantastic. Very organised, excellent service.
As you can see there are many places to sit. The reception area is beautiful. Beautifully decorated. Very clean.
Beautiful atmosphere.
Thank you. Absolutely fantastic
What other superlatives can I use to describe Oxenberry Farm - it is fantastic. Our “villa” was very very good and photos on the website did no justice to actually being in it. The staff and we were fortunate to being served on check-in and our breakfast by Geraldine (aka Gigi) - she was efficient, helpful and nothing was impossible for her. Thanks to her we had a magnificent 4 days. As Arnie and MacArthur said - we will be back
Rude manager. We obviously interrupted his paper reading. Can't comment on food as he was so bad we walked out even tho we had paid for our order. Never again.
Lovely food, great view, fast service from friendly staff and you can hire ebikes there will go back and try that next time, thanks ladies
Beautiful place with tasty food, great coffee, lovely staff and plenty of spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Booking still recommended but you might be lucky if you just drop in. Been here twice and enjoyed both times! Will absolutely be back.
Little Jem in the middle of McLaren Vale.
Undiscover historic site where evening has begun, Oxenbery farm should be the start of your journey to taste and feel what more the Vale as to offer.
Kids friendly, accommodation available.
Absolutely delicious. Very well priced. Enjoyed what I ordered and had food envy at seeing what other people had ordered. Definitely going back to try something else. Today I had poached eggs, next time I'm having fruit on waffles as that looked amazing.
Lovely staff, gorgeous surroundings, wonderful brunch.
Visited twice over a long weekend as with restrictions it was the easiest place to get into. Both times left feeling like they need to improve their food offering. The antipasto platter on day one fell well short on value and on quality, poor quality ham, olives ok, cheese was basic. On the second visit, we tried the pub style food, not bad but probably best to head to your local pub instead for a burger. Has potential due to the location, just needs to drive better quality.
Great place to stay, cottage very comfy and well stocked, complimentary bubbles and cider greatly appreciated.
Breakfast was amazing.
A very relaxing place with beautiful scenic view of the vineyard. Their coffee is top notch and well priced. Will definitely come back here again soon.
A beautiful quiet spot to sit with a view over vineyards and enjoy wine, snacks or meals. My wife and I enjoyed the very generous meat platter at $35. We arent big eaters but it was too much for us. Music was playing softly in the background which is perfect for a social get together. Later a soloist guitar player was entertaining in the attached room. Mellow pleasant music perfect for the setting. You can also enjoy 3 free wine tastings before choosing your own bottle for the meal. We have attached some photos. Thank you Oxenberry. Perfect. Loved your Preservative free wine and sad its not been a big seller. Loved it.
I have ordered bruschetta. It was good. Mexican sausage was well cooked. Wine is good. Happy. Plan to visit again
Wasn't exactly blown away here. Ordered two burgers, empanadas and a pot of tea for 2. Took 55 minutes for the food to come out when there were only two other tables there.
Burgers very ordinary; patties smaller than the buns, dry and unseasoned, cheese not melted, buns not toasted. Empanada filling not seasoned. Won't go back.
Visited often for a Sunday morning coffee. Always enjoyed it and an open fire was nice on cool winter days. Coffee was always good.
They were very nice in letting me use the bathroom without any purchase + the location and food looked very good!
Nice spot as we stopped for a late Sunday afternoon coffee. Venue was quiet and staff friendly. Coffee was excellent. Venue has wine tastings and a cafe. Cakes and gelato are also available. Good location right on the sea to vines bike track. Lots of open area for kids to play and run safely.
Lovely outdoor grass area for the kids to run around, and lovely outlook, but sadly the food was not up to scratch. We ordered burgers with sweet potato fries and chicken wings. The chicken wings were still raw in the middle and the sweet potato fries were undercooked as well. The burgers were ok.
Relaxed environment. Pretty view of vineyards. Close to town centre. Carpark available. Friendly, polite staff. Good service. Great coffee and snacks or meals. Can sit indoors or outside. Lawn area for children to run and play. Icecream available.
